After taking things into a new direction genre-wise with Gewalt’s “What Can I Do”, we have a second novum to announce: for the first time, we are bringing on an artist who we did not have on the blog before! Matias Aldana, a producer from Colombia, sent us a demo of his track “Savi Host” a while ago, asking for feedback. We immediately felt that the track’s spaced-out synths and electro-techno beat matched our idea for the next vinyl surprisingly well. Breaking our usual rule, we offered to sign the track to NovaFuture Recordings. Aldana runs his own label and collective “No Signal Spectrum” and has been pushing fresh wave and trance inspired sounds for quite a while.

While we generally intend to stick to our rule of only releasing artists that we have previously featured, we are happy to welcome Matias Aldana to NovaFuture Recordings! “Savi Host” will be out digitally on the 20th November and released as part of NovaFuture Recordings’ third vinyl sampler Modern Love in December 2020.

“Odeal” by Nendza was previously released on NovaFuture Recordings´ second vinyl sampler “Strange Highs & Strange Lows” and gets it digital version.

Sounding more peak-time than the other 3 tracks from the limited vinyl release, the track, with its massive kickdrums and piercing synths, further develops the artists signature sound he established with his previous releases on Ressort Imprint and Prodigal Son.

“Odeal” will now also be available digitally through NovaFuture Recordings digital series. For the next release, the label will explore new stylistic directions and present some other sounds strongly connected with the identity and idea of the NovaFuture label and Blog.

Boyd Schidt, KHIDI resident and half of the duo Greenbeam & Leon, joined NovaFuture Recordings as part of the label’s second vinyl sampler with the track ‘Artificial Intelligence’. Previously only released on vinyl, the track now gets its digital release.

‘Artificial Intelligence’ skilfully combines elements of Acid, Trance, and Techno, synthesising an atmospheric and detailed whole. The track builds upon intricate Techno-drum patterns and hypnotising acid loops, glued together by the artists great sense for sound-design, evoking mellow, dreamy vibes.

For anyone who didn’t grab the vinyl release, ‘Artificial Intelligence’ will be available digitally through NovaFuture Recordings Bandcamp on 19th June 2020.
