Press Info:
With sounds ranging from polished juggernaut kick drums to gritty basslines & percussion, paired with old school jacking vocals, Belfast based DAHRYL is taking the scene by storm and effortlessly proving to be an artist that can sit comfortably with the elite. His latest release sees him return to Rudosa’s sought-after Techno imprint Moments In Time with another stunning offering, including three new originals and
respective remixes from Tham & Illiya Korniyenko that form his ‘Back To Basics’ EP.

The release commences with ‘Hunters Bark’, delivering a lightning-fast flurry of rattling rhythms and low-frequency growl. Its coarse industrious melodic factors retain an explicitly underground feel whilst creative use of vocal layers and modulating FX bring an abrasive feel, making it an undeniably hard-hitting introduction to the EP.

‘Basic Bitch comes next, pushing along a chugging core of pounding kick drums and murky stabs alongside progressively energetic layers of tonal percussion and cleverly- stacked hat grooves. Add the introduction of offbeat fills and ominous vocals to the mix and you’ve got yourself another largely forceful peaky-time bomb on your hands.

The last of three originals, ‘Sweat’ does exactly what it says on the tin. An unavoidably intense affair from the first beat, the mix is packed tight with an array of demanding frequencies and riveting Industrial layers from the off. A certified warehouse weapon and then some, this is raw adulterated Techno – personified.

Tham’s percussive remix of ‘Basic Bitch’ is next up, grabbing you firmly from the outset. Thumping drum work and racy hat grooves drive the track forwards amongst a sea of rave stabs and rhythmic vox shots as its corrosive melodic core bleeds deeper into the track through climatic breaks and suspenseful transitions, delivering a high-octane rollercoaster from start to finish.

Netherlands-based Illiya Korniyenko sees off the release with a blistering remix of ‘Hunters Bark’, serving up another hardened portion of creative individuality. Keeping a firm foot on the gas, its breakneck tempo is teamed perfectly with an unrelenting array of rasping tones and menacing glitchiness to give it an unparalleled level of unique character.

Rise From The Ashes

Press Info:
Started on a shared vision, Dutch duo Hush & Sleep is a combination of Tom Tonnard and Frankie Decicco. The Complex Maastricht residents are well-versed in top-rate Techno releases, with offerings on Ellora, Opium Trax, Overtime Recordings and many more, including UK-based imprint Moments In Time. Following a remarkable debut on the label as part of its ‘Moments Vol.1’ compilation, they return for their first full EP, ‘Gom Jabbar’, whilst enlisting creative input from Italian artist Amstra on remix duties.

Kicking the door open on the release, the title cut ‘Gom Jabbar’ is an intensely savage affair from the outset. Hammering kicks and industrial-tinged hat sequences rocket through the heart of the track’s pacy persona whilst it modulates through different beat structures and continues to crescendo through murky synth layers and riveting bass notes. The track’s standout rave-inspired breaks and climatic builds add yet another layer of intensity, making for a stunning Peak-time warehouse bomb.

‘Metal Track’ follows suit, keeping the tempo at a premium. The track’s title is immediately apparent as a grungy metal riff begins to seep through its core of breakneck drum work and piercing hat grooves. This leads into another largely atmospheric breakdown with hurrying urgency before striking back into the main groove, this time with hardcore-infused twist via a screeching guitar layer.

Amstra’s remix of ‘Metal Track’ brings a new dimension to an already standout piece of music. Its progressively building melodic centrepiece is enveloped within a robust shell of thumping kick drums, riveting percussive cadence, and warped vox fills. Another attention-stealing warehouse-style techno warhead is at play here, with a mind-bending array of different scenes and styles dotted throughout the hair-raising journey.

The release closes out on ‘Rise From The Ashes’, completing a quad of undeniably raucous industrial-laden weapons. Corrosive frequencies slice through a roaring low-end drive via the medium of layered hats and distorted FX as the track’s gripping synth lead continues to rear its head upwards throughout the darkness of an ominously addictive peak-time Hard Techno number.

Press Info:
With recent releases on Sindex, Under Division, Crusade, Otomo Trax & Insane Industry, Analect is quickly making waves in the underground scene with his forward-thinking sound. His next release ‘Don’t Stop’ will be on the Manchester-native vinyl imprint label Moments In Time, featuring three striking original cuts, accompanied by a standout remix from German artist B2.

Swinging the door wide open with a furiously potent peak-time cut is title track ‘Don’t Stop’. Riding a solid base of hammering kicks and blistering hat grooves, the track’s rave-inspired synth lead and subtly acidic low-frequency elements bring a darkened atmosphere to the mix to match its ominous vocal hook.

German DJ/Producer B2 follows with his rendition of the title track, serving a generous portion of industrial elements, its high-octane energy and bottom-heavy beats deliver a hair-raising dance-floor experience.

‘Stop The Party’ comes next, keeping the tempo high and the rhythms explicitly weighty. More hammering drums and electrifying hat sequences pave the way for sawing synth licks and trance-like leads, whilst a hardcore-inspired vox laces the mix with a nostalgic ‘90s hardcore feel.

The release comes to a firm close on ‘Warp Speed’, completing a quad of driving Industrial Techno bombs. Much like its predecessors, its fusion of Hardcore, Rave and even PsyTrance elements showcase the extent of Analect’s unparalleled sonic signature and vision – marking an impressive full solo MIT debut from the rising Mancunian!

Press Info:
Manchester-based Rudosa has been at the helm of Moments in Time for 3 years now, hand-picking every release to curate a uniquely personal, pulsating industrial sound. With plaudits and fans alike, his future focused, ‘90s-influenced music is finding favour wherever there’s a dancefloor. For his newest EP, Rudosa brings the classic sounds of UK hardcore bang up to date. Opening with ‘Stronger Rhythm’ crunchy drums and clattering percussions form the bedrock groove onto which he adds rhythmic vocals, and a and wild synths. It’s a dark ride that’ll put a massive smile on Next up, ‘It Is What It Is’ continues the trend expanding on the chopped-up breaks and spiky lead lines. Blending the hard trance synth sounds synonymous with E- Werk and Ultraschall and the modern industrial warehouse growl is no mean feat, and this is about as perfect as it gets. ‘Inviolable Power’ pounds from the first bar. More traditional sounding than the previous two, it by no means lacks punch – the main hook is arms aloft central for sure. An anthem in the making and sure to be hammered by all the big names in the scene. Finally, rounding off this impressive tetrad, is ‘Rejected’. Overdriven gabba kicks, shuffling percussions and a tensive energy set this apart. Once the acid and eerie lead synths kick in it’s all over bar the shouting!

Press Info:
Talented UK-based artist, Rudosa, champions a fusion of hard hypnotic Techno with euphoric overtones that transports you back to a simpler time where nostalgia and emotion take over. Spanning several years of successful releases on high profile imprints he now mainly focuses on his own imprint, Moments in Time. This May we see the label release its 3rd VA, quite the achievement in only its 2nd year running. The label has always prided itself in showcasing many unknown artists, those who have turned the head of Rudosa with some talented production skills.

Featured on a previous VA, Yorkshireman Balrog returns with his heavier, darker techno, with a debut collab alongside Rudosa for ‘Names Not Down’, an energetic drum workout with a cheeky nod to 90’s clubland.

VXPX are an anonymous duo that express themselves through hard and fast sounds with an edge of ‘90s energy wrapped in industrial soul. Their track ‘Without ID’ is dystopian and hypnotic, with soaring menacing synth work.

Skoden is a UK-based DJ/producer who broke into the industry with his own label, YAWA, back in 2020. Navigating the difficult post-covid waters with much success, he’s now signed to Omen, Flesh and Hammers and others. He makes his debut with ‘Walls Of Jericho’ and its scattergun hats and schranz-y drums. KEYO’s ‘Tactical Progression’ adds a touch of restraint and class to the release, before we head over to Estonian producer Merimell’s ‘Breatherian’ which drops the tempo but not the energy, the tracks powerful industrial drums and funk drive this track.

Frazi.er is a name making some waves the last year, after his sell out show at Glasgow’s HYDRO, and sets at Terminal V, Into The Woods and Platform 18, his raw, unapologetic sound makes a mark with ‘She’s Running Through My Head’. It’s complex polyrhythms and hypnotic joie de vivre.

Alt8 is a label favourite, with a release coming later this year. He takes inspiration from early 2000’s hard techno, and wraps that into his latest blinder with ‘Sleepless Nights With You’. Effortlessly sitting on the hard dance crossover point, it’s got bags of personality and is the kind of track you wait for at the end of the night. Closing out the VA is a new name Non Reversible with ‘Endless Expanse’. This sees the producer spread his creative wings, with a powerful techno track to make his debut. Already signed to Soma, Arts and Animal Farm, this is a name you may see a lot more of in 2022. His deep, driving moods fluctuate between hypnotic rhythms and dark mind-blowing emotions.
