Press Info:
Moments In Time is a new Manchester based label run by Mark Bradbury aka Rudosa who kicked off the labels first release ‘Obsolescence’ in 2019. This March the label releases their second VA, consisting of 8 original tracks. Rudosa hammers down the doors for the VA’s opening track ‘Viable Entity’. Instantaneously setting the tone with an arsenal of clambering hi-hats and a kick drum thick enough to bring down a building.

DAHYRL quickly follows suit with ‘Reviere’, an equally vigorous hard-hitting ensemble of stomping kicks and dashing arpeggiators. The Belfast producer masterfully intertwines trance-like synth builds with clattering percussive elements for a powerhouse track fit for the wildest of nights. Balrog’s Ambient textures envelop the introductory section of ‘Flak Business’, leading listeners into a false sense of calm before opening out into a flurry of earth-shattering industrial drum patterns.

There’s no rest for the wicked as NTBR brings the bouncing bassline and vocal combo ‘Big Bang’ for the compilation’s midpoint moment. A peak time smasher sure to put a smile on the face of ravers in the early hours.

London’s Charlie Sparks cracks open the second half of the compilation with ‘Phobia’. A laser-infused Techno roller with a hypnotic vocal accompaniment inducing fear and adrenaline into the dance. Fellow Manchester industrial producer ANALECT calls upon the spirit of second-wave Detroit Techno releases with his track ‘What You Do To Me’. Relentless rhythmic elements and a twisting menagerie of bells circle ceaselessly through the mix, slowly progressing into a rave-ready anthem fit to shake any worthy sound system.

SLV provides the penultimate moments with ‘Buried Alive’, having seen releases on SOMA and Virgo, SLV is a well-seasoned purveyor of hard Techno releases and ‘Buried Alive’ certainly doesn’t fall short. Earthy and grisly in its nature, the track digs deep and ceaselessly drives through sonic ecstasy.

The VA concludes with Selective Response’s ‘Waking Up Alone’. Warped synth lines and shifting hi-hat patterns carry this track into a trance-like state of hypnosis. Infusions of acid cut into the mix at the track’s midpoint seamlessly bringing forth a flurry of sirens and breakneck drums.

Moments in Time is gearing up for an exciting and busy schedule of releases in 2021, featuring some of the world’s greatest up and coming Techno artists, this hand-picked compilation by the label’s founder Rudosa stands as a reminder of those rave-inspired memories we all long for. To be transported back to a particular feeling or ‘Moment in Time’.

Press Info:
Moments In Time is a new Manchester based label run by Mark Bradbury aka Rudosa who kicked off the labels first release ‘Obsolescence’ in 2019. A 3-track release compromising of hammering drums, intensity and clever synth work. The release and label mark a supported change into a linear, darker and harder style of techno for the young producer.

Making his debut in January is Cuban producer and DJ, Hioll who has run his own successful imprint Abstraction since 2017, the first electronic music label to come from Cuba. Gaining recognition with support from big names across the industry, and releases from artists including from X-Alex, Gøwther, Inglawt, Bas Mooy and Tenudo. The label also provides home for his own powerful, hypnotic and linear techno productions with hints of new school rave.

‘Subdued Nation’ is a gargantuan 4 track release kicking off with “El Renegade’, think Belgian style big beat meeting thumping techno. ‘Bitter Populism’ provides a thunderous bass and the high energy fans know him for. It’s a nod to the 90s.

‘Dictators’ is the one track of the release that is completely stripped back and percussive, very much orientated as a DJ tool, before the whole release is thrown into rave madness with a peak time synth energy explosion in ‘The Masses’.
