Dustin Zahn makes his Blueprint Records debut in September as James Ruskin’s label continues to celebrate 25 years at the forefront of Techno.
Since 1998, Dustin Zahn’s work has put his career on a steady ascent. Along the way, he has gained years of experience and unrivalled musical diversity as both a producer and performer, earning him respect among techno and house legends, purists, and contemporary DJs. He performs regularly around the world and his DJ sets are much like his releases. “I like it dark enough for the boys, but groovy enough for the girls” says Zahn. With a preference for marathon sets and his laid-back approach to life and music, he seamlessly traverses through various genres to create a unique, hypnotic vibe. As a producer, his releases on labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, and CLR have brought him international success. And his remixes for the likes of Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Green Velvet, Dubfire, Nic Fancuilli, Mark Broom, Joel Mull and more have helped catapult him into the collections of DJs everywhere.
Despite his busy release schedule, he still finds time to own and operate Enemy Records, founded in 2004, which focuses on the same late-night hypnotic techno that you’ll often find in his DJ sets. Much like his ‘Hand Over Control’ EP for Blueprint which features four new tracks of deep dance floor techno, available from 3rd September.

We’re here with our ninth EP release, this time we have MOES & Samoh.
Two very talented producers from Holland. They’re quickly rising trough the scene with their amazing productions. You might know MOES already from his latest podcast on the label.
This 4 track EP also included a remix by label boss, SWART.
The first track, Emergence is a huge acid track, perfect for intro’s or long breaks, a track that will destroy the dancefloor.
The second track, The Purpose is a hard track with a filthy kick and a nasty sequenced bass.
The third track, Defende Liberte is another hard track with a sequenced bass and some acid but also with some overall ravy influences.
The last track is the remix by SWART, a reinterpretation of the title track. He used the same bassline, mixed it up and added his own signature flavor.

Hioll returns to the label with a release of ten original tracks.
“Velvet Revolution LP” is a Techno album purely intended to be used in DJ sets at clubs and raves. Denotes an industrial sound but at the same time drinks from other sources of influence. Taking the groove as a flag and adding adjacent elements, the narrative of these cuts makes them intertwine with each other, leading us on a sonic journey similar to a session at any venue. It should also be noted that, like other Hioll works, it aims to send a message of reflection and accurate criticism towards this contemporary era.

The arcane enigma from the caucasian mountains that is Natalie Beridze, treats us with a reflective concept album, her 9th solo album, focussing on buried chapters in her own work history.
“I sought after material, piled up on my old hard drives; – various sound debris, recorded and produced in the past. I recycled them beyond recognition and fudged them together into new samples to compose this album.
Mapping Debris is a term used during an investigation of a plane crash. Special agency collects millions of infinite small pieces of shattered metal and wiring from the crash site. They later try to reconstruct an original fuselage of the plane from assembled debris, in order to recreate its story and reveal the reason that lead up to the catastrophe.
Mapping Debris is a manifestation of dematerialization in physical domain and time: shedding skin turning into dust, decaying objects, corrosion, atrophy, rot, nonsense and factual forgetfulness, which mirrors chilling fear of perishing, losing integrity, memory of events, images, smells and sensation of touch of those, who have already perished in their earthly archetype. Yet in the aftermath of realization, one no longer dwells in colossal dead weight of inevitability of the end. The pattern perishing has a golden thread on one end – the one that makes us dwell in ceaseless possibility of rebirth, translation and remembrance. This album is a continuation of series of works I have dedicated to my parents lives, as well as their death…”
It is an intricate poetic net one enters while surrendering to Natalies music. The spiky grit and her heartwarming, harmonic swashes that touch you like a hug, belong inseparably together and spread that multilayerd consolation, manifesting the force of music in its most glistening form.
