After two LPs on Sonic Groove, Crystal geometry returns in April with a new album redefining his vision, for the first time, on his own new imprint : Bloc Noir.
Leaning more towards guitars and at a slightly faster pace than his previous records the thirteen tracks of “I stare into darkness” range from trap influenced bangers to black metal rave songs and industrial broken beats.
The message is clear, it’s a call to arms to challenge the dystopian world that is becoming our reality.

Because of the currently unbearable delays in the record pressing plants “I stare into darkness” will only be released on USB necklaces and in digital format on Crystal geometry’s bandcamp.
The full metal engraved USBs will contain as an added bonus instrumental versions of some of the songs, a digital booklet with lyrics and the thirteen tracks in both compressed and lossless file formats.

The infamous techno duo Rebar delivers another EP for their label ‘made of Concrete’: ‘Inverted Balance’ dives deep into the billions of neurons that connect our thoughts and identities into a vast network based – like electronic music – on electrical circuits. In the first track ‘Inverted Balance’, the beat hovers like a drone over a dark landscape. Accompanying this flying object is a bass-heavy remix by Vincent Desmont from Paris, France. Track number two ‘Subcutane’ reveals: a gentle headbang.

Although this movement is not enough to satisfy the phat dancefloor energy of the EP’s second track With the ‘Inverted Balance’ EP, the duo adds another release to their label’s concrete-mixing truck load of Techno, Dub, Ambient and Experimental music out of Berlin/Dresden and the world. Force Mass Motion drops R-iVAC on FMM

The rave, breakbeat and hardcore legend Force Mass Motion, aka Mike Wells, continues his run of new material with the single release ‘R-iVAC’, an exploration into the more melodic and progressive house side of his influences.

Given the UK producer’s acid-driven techno and hardcore background, its no surprise to hear a nagging 303 underpinning this deep, house groover but it’s the dense arpeggiated synths and pads that make ‘R-iVAC’ stand out from the crowd.

Discovered in the early 90s by the legendary Colin Faver, who ran the equally revered Rabbit City Records, Wells went on to release a string of influential releases for the label that, in 2021, are still the toast of the era. Never one to stay in one place, Force Mass Motion was also heavily involved in the NuSkool Breaks scene, releasing raucous tracks for the likes of Lot49 and teaming up with Dylan Rhymes for the melodic/progressive influenced ‘Silencer’ project. The past few years have seen Wells making his classics available whilst working on new material that ranges from epic breakbeat sounds to trance infused house.
