Matriarch of the Berlin techno scene, Ellen Allien, presents her latest album ‘New Life’ on BPitch on 9th July 2026, announcing with the first single ‘Steh Auf’ on 21st May.

Rooted in the electronic music community since its ferment as post-wall political protest, Ellen has been a continuous force of this egalitarian spirit, that runs deeply through her every action. Against hierarchy and convention, Ellen lives the arc from inside. Techno is a protest by existing. By dancing. By building a world inside the ruins of another one. Globally we have been creating the communities we want on dancefloors for decades, but in recent years have seen it consumed by capitalist interests.

The album is a powerful statement on personal autonomy, community responsibility, and the destructive forces threatening our planet’s beauty. Recorded between Berlin, Miami and Ibiza over the past winters; the album channels themes of empowerment, anarchy, and collective action; a call to dismantle failing systems while embracing regeneration, growth, and new hope through self-determination.

Through her signature forward-thinking techno, Ellen explores the ocean’s beauty and humanity’s impact on it, creating sonic landscapes that aim to unite and build community on dancefloors, delivering light through darkness. Ellen’s spoken words arrive like signals from another planet, her distinctive voice creating an otherworldly sonic experience. This is emotional rave music, weaving elements of minimal, darkwave, hypnotic euphoria, into a vibrant journey, with first single ‘Steh Auf’ as the rousing centre. Textured sonic landscapes richly cover the whole record where birds sing, waves crash, and spaceships fly through the Berlin night sky. The darkness gives space to explore the beauty of the world that exists from dusk to sunrise.

New Life takes many forms. Chosen families, unconventional care giving, womanhood beyond traditional scripts, embracing queerness, harnessing power to unite rather than divide. As conventions across the globe fail or are destroyed, ecological disasters and wars created for profit while leaders ignore their people, we believe that another world is not only possible but urgently necessary.

Click † Click’s connection to electronic music began early, sparked by hearing Kraftwerk as a child and developing into a lifelong focus on machines, rhythm and repetition. Starting in minimal techno, his sound has continuously evolved through Chicago, Jackin’ and Acid House before settling into a harder, industrial techno language. That evolution is driven by experience rather than trends – refined through years of production, label work and playing clubs across the world.

Berlin native Lucinee steps up for a solo EP on BPitch, delving into trippy new territory across three tracks.

Having cut her teeth in the underground music worlds of Hamburg and Berlin, Lucinee’s approach to musicality is grounded by a firm DIY mentality and a desire to explore the weirder, more hypnotic realms of the sonic sphere.

With regular gigs at some of the world’s most respected clubs, and a host of releases on various beloved labels, she is already part of the BPitch booking roster, but makes her sonic debut on the label with this EP.

Across just three tracks, Lucinee packs in a world of sound design, fusing warm psychedelic swirls into driving techno with touches of ambient, whilst using her voice as an instrument throughout. The result is a masterclass in hypnotism and groove, with touches of nostalgia and the beating pulse of a packed dancefloor.

Continuing to expand on their sonic world, BPitch Berlin present the ninth iteration of WE ARE NOT ALONE, a 12-track compilation bridging diverse forms and frameworks held together by a genuine love for the underground.

A testament to the breadth of style and genre that keeps BPitch alight, each WE ARE NOT ALONE compilation offers an insight into varying subcultures, and connects the dots between artists across the globe with a shared vision. From acid to industrial, EBM to trance, genre denominations fizzle and make way for a feeling, carving a space for each artist to document their own interpretation of an energy that has sustained the label and event series since its inception.

Kicking things off is UFO Inc. regular DJ Europarking, whose ‘Faze Swapp’ walks the line between playful and unnerving. Drawing on the late ‘90s hard-trance energy, he hones in on his bouncy, immersive production style, setting the tone for what’s to come. Diving into the deep end, BEC lays down a hard, bass-heavy swirl of malfunctioning lasers and tweaky vocals on ‘Tibetan Monks’. Stepping further into the dramatic art, Aida Arko readies some genre-bending, innovative storytelling on ‘May Be Life Maybe Death’.

Berlin-based Sarah Sommers steps up with an all hardware journey of tension-building synths, deep bass and hypnotic percussion. Not letting her foot off the gas, Gabby Diaz follows up with a swarm of brutal kicks and wailing distortions on ‘Bloody Dance’. Leaning further into the groove, ‘A Tear In The Sofa’ by Annē offers a paired-back dose of darkened minimalism.

Detroit-born, Berlin-based maestro DJ T-1000 slides in with expertly layered rhythms and shuffling percussion on ‘Unfeminine Woman’. Also showing some love to the Detroit sound, Byron Alvarado’s offering leans on soulful, lightly-swung techno with melodic inflections and flickers of euphoria. Next up, Ukrainian Omon Breaker lines up an emotive cut of synthwave-influenced trance energy driven by Garden Krist’s glistening vocals.

Kicking off the home run, X-Alox plunges into chaotic acoustics and fast-paced, maximal percussion on ‘Sexy Sexy’. Rebecca Delle Piane’s ‘Ammore’ leads with a powerful kick snare combo, tying the threads between hypnotic and minimal in equal measure. Rounding things off, the inimitable Dr. Rubinstein teams up with Blind Observatory for ‘Express Lane’, a smooth hit of groovy acid landing softly on cloud nine.

Playful as ever, whilst never losing sight of techno’s functional core, WE ARE NOT ALONE pt. 9 is an attempt at documenting a feeling, and a crucial snapshot into some of electronic music’s most exciting voices.

Next up on BPitch is a split EP featuring two distinct talents presenting their own strains of shadowy, atmospheric techno.

Lithuanian producer Under Black Helmet has been producing abrasive, industrial cuts since the mid-2010s, channelling the darker spheres of electronic music into highly rhythmic percussive workouts. He appeared earlier this year on the WE ARE NOT ALONE PT.7 compilation, and regularly performs in some of the world’s most respected clubs. Rommek is an alias of Romek Boyer, a producer and DJ with an extensive background in sound design, and an impressive catalogue of releases that explore intricate sonic arrangements with a highly textural approach.
