Press Info:
Arkham Audio Records is thrilled to announce the release of J.Blofeld’s “Trig Skude” EP on May 5th, 2023.

The EP opens with the title track “Trig Skude” a pounding techno cut that keeps the energy levels high and the audience engaged, is next up. Setaoc Mass remix of “Trig Skude” takes the track in a darker and more hypnotic direction, with swirling pads and a menacing bassline that will keep listeners locked in.

“Sicure” an acidic techno banger that is guaranteed to get the dancefloor moving. The EP is followed by a deconstructed remake of “Sicure” by James Ruskin, keeping the acid basslines and building on the intensity to create a dance-floor killer track.

“Recal” is a deep club weapon that is perfect for those late-night sets. The track features a pulsating bassline that drives the song forward, creating a moody and atmospheric vibe. Alexander Kowalski’s remix of “Recal” takes the track to a more dystopic place, with a deep and cerebral sound that is sure to captivate the audience.

Overall, “Trig Skude” is an exceptional EP that showcases J.Blofeld’s versatility and ability to create tracks that are both danceable and thought-provoking. The EP will be available on May 5th, 2023.

Press Info:
J.Blofeld has been making waves in the underground scene for the past number of years and is now back with another deeply melodic yet powerful nine-track release titled 47. The project is backed by some titans in the techno scene, as it comes with remixes from Headless Horseman, Mark Broom, CYRK, Kaiser and Cri Du Coeur.

It comes under Belgian imprint Arkham Audio for the 11th installment of their ARKIO series. J.Blofeld has previously featured on Arkham Audio, contributing his track ‚Circles‘ to the Arkham Friends Part 1.

Having brought us his beguiling Nador EP last year, this latest release looks to encapsulate his mellifluous take on techno. The opening track, ‚47‘, introduces swarming yet wistful pads with emphatic kicks. The builds have evocative and resonating synths that come across as winding. It comes as a thoughtful yet gyrating beat with icy hats and plenty of drive.

The rework from Headless Horseman comes with his own unique stamp on the track. It reimagines the beats as stand-alone percussions to give them a new dimension. He maintains the emotive synths but brings new darkness with his destructive drum patterns. It kicks into gear halfway through with some darkwave elements.

The Mark Broom remix comes in typical Broom fashion. The legendary British producer has carved out a sound that is synonymous with his name. With plenty of body to shake your hips to and bouncing builds, it‘s a track for big sound systems. His use of claps and crisp snares are enchanting.

The second original track is ‚Batu‘. The production showcases J.Blofeld‘s production talents as it journeys the listener through a soundscape. With delicate and reverberating percussions, he drives the sound of a high-pitched synth through what feels like frozen mountains.

The remix from Berlin-based duo CYRK keeps the soundscape but gives it dense and changing drum patterns. It has rolling, zipping and shimmering sounds with some stabs thrown in for good measure.

The sixth track, but third original production, is ‚Obsidian‘. This cut is a thoughtful and purposeful techno production. It has oscillating synths that sound like counting down timepieces. It has curious beeps, robot bleeps, and the kick drum and hats keep the velocity.

It is remixed by Italian artist Kaiser. The Berlin-based producer is known for bringing out high-octane productions, and this one is no different. He keeps the quizzical nature of the track with the beeps but has added energy to the pacing. It has fast claps, sharp snares, chugging synths and punchy percussions.

The penultimate track, and final original production from J.Blofeld, is ‚Uranus‘. As the name suggests, it has a sci-fi feel but with emphatic builds. It feels like being in a spaceship, launched into space. The beeping and siren-like synths add a sense of alarm; however, it has a momentary blissful release before jumping back in with heavy sounds.

The last remix comes from Cri du Coeur. It has a robotic vocal, steaming synths and destructive percussions. It looks to end the project on a vigorous note as it has plenty of energy and force, a compelling finish to a powerful cut.

Dosing Off
(Cri Du Coeur Remix)

Press Info:
Denise Rabe is back with a frantic industrial EP, Blame Me, via the Arkham Audio imprint. The aggressive techno release reflects her early influences from hip hop, drum ‘n’ bass and jungle, mixing heavy drums and tribal percussive rhythms with gritty industrial drones, arpeggiated sirens and machine fx for a dark and hard-hitting experience. The release perfectly embodies Arkham Audio’s signature sound that focuses on driving, club-ready industrial techno.

The EP begins with the title track ‘Blame Me’, which blends a frenzy of raw percussion, rough noise textures and an ever-evolving alarming sweep that builds tension throughout the track. The release follows with ‘1394’, a darker, rhythm-heavy tune with electrical buzz and mechanical hiss that groans, creaks and moans. ‘Dosing Off’ is the most melodic and minimalistic track of the EP, with a mellow, ambient lead pulsing over sweeping noise pads and sparse drums.

The release features a remix for each of the three original tracks, the first being Advent’s groovy interpretation of ‘Blame Me’, which brings in dub chords to replace some of the industrial hits and drones. The second remix is from TWR72 for ‘1394’, which adds tribal drums and textures for an upbeat, dancefloor-ready track. The final track is an upbeat, pulsing remix of ‘Dosing Off’ from Arkham Audio label owner Cri Du Coeur himself.

Press Info:
Fast Lane is a project that looks to deliver a diverse output in the return to booming club sound systems. Oliver Deutschmann is no stranger to injecting compounding techno that builds with emphatic passion before reaching a crescendo and cascading effusively.

The Berlin-based artist is releasing under the Belgian imprint Arkham Audio, which Cri Du Coeur heads. The label embarks on delivering forward-thinking and unshackled techno sounds. This project is a coming together of both philosophies to offer four tracks of eclectic floor pleasers.

The title track ‘Fast Lane’ features acid-tinged basslines that create velocity, while off-synths, crushing snares, and emphatic bass drums culminate in a pulsating finish.

Up second is ‚New Age‘, which offers a more pensive solemn affair. The excogitation pads insinuate an elusive feeling that gains direction as the kick, quick claps and shivering snare add pace and movement.

The penultimate track begins with rumbling jungle-like drums juxtaposed against a bleeping machine infused synth. The bleeps and bloops develop until it sounds like a conversation with a droid. Eventually ensnared by tingling hats, it continues to rise with plenty of body.

Last cut is a peak time driver with punchy kicks, a polyrhythmic whaling synth and snappy stabs. It has a mid-way build that keeps energy engaged and brings in an icy snare to cool off the heat—strap on your dancing boots.

Fast Lane EP will be available for digital release October 15th, 2021, on Arkham Audio. Be sure to check out the sound and cop the release.

Press Info:
Arkham Friends’ is a 2 part compilation with an uncompromising lineup of talent from the Arkham Audio family that have been making waves since the labels unveiling just over a year ago.

Part 1 is constructed of 10 quality tracks that speak many different tongues of techno. From Roman Poncet’s rhythmic, pulsing, hard energy approach, through to a percussively driven, bassline rich and highly addictive upbeat style from Insolate. Crashguard & Denise Rabe deliver riveting hard, dark and heavy approachs to the mix, while the likes of CYRK & DJ T-1000 fuse together eclectic elements to make tracks offering a unique left of centre approach that is full of surprises. Luis Flores lets everything breathe with his slow burn offering while J. Blofeld cleverly paints a world full of layered soundscapes. The multifaceted part 1 side is completed with Dustin Zahn & K-Ten producing lush synth fueled soundscapes which perfectly mix into this dynamic first part.

The second part of the compilation turns up the intensity to the maximum with 9 slamming club ready tracks. The man behind the label is Jerome D., aka Cri Du Coeur and he drops a delicious acid heavy track. His approach is supported by Marhu & Florian Meindl who also construct a world of acid-fueled mayhem. Drumcell continues to bring cleverly constructed chaos with a suspenseful array of hard sporadic energy.

An unrelenting flood of hard body moving frequencies is added by Zadig & Joe Farr before thick heavy basslines from Germany‘s Oliver Deutschmann fill out the spectrum. Kaiser and Madben’s gripping tracks are full of suspense and depth and round out this pounding second part of the compilation with a bang.

From top to toe this is a synergy of vigorous tracks that formulate to make an in-vigorating compilation from the Belgium based Arkham Audio which is releasing on September 3rd.
