Press Info:
Arkham Friends’ is a 2 part compilation with an uncompromising lineup of talent from the Arkham Audio family that have been making waves since the labels unveiling just over a year ago.

Part 1 is constructed of 10 quality tracks that speak many different tongues of techno. From Roman Poncet’s rhythmic, pulsing, hard energy approach, through to a percussively driven, bassline rich and highly addictive upbeat style from Insolate. Crashguard & Denise Rabe deliver riveting hard, dark and heavy approachs to the mix, while the likes of CYRK & DJ T-1000 fuse together eclectic elements to make tracks offering a unique left of centre approach that is full of surprises. Luis Flores lets everything breathe with his slow burn offering while J. Blofeld cleverly paints a world full of layered soundscapes. The multifaceted part 1 side is completed with Dustin Zahn & K-Ten producing lush synth fueled soundscapes which perfectly mix into this dynamic first part.

The second part of the compilation turns up the intensity to the maximum with 9 slamming club ready tracks. The man behind the label is Jerome D., aka Cri Du Coeur and he drops a delicious acid heavy track. His approach is supported by Marhu & Florian Meindl who also construct a world of acid-fueled mayhem. Drumcell continues to bring cleverly constructed chaos with a suspenseful array of hard sporadic energy.

An unrelenting flood of hard body moving frequencies is added by Zadig & Joe Farr before thick heavy basslines from Germany‘s Oliver Deutschmann fill out the spectrum. Kaiser and Madben’s gripping tracks are full of suspense and depth and round out this pounding second part of the compilation with a bang.

From top to toe this is a synergy of vigorous tracks that formulate to make an in-vigorating compilation from the Belgium based Arkham Audio which is releasing on September 3rd.

Press Info:
Belgian imprint Arkham Audio continues to build momentum twelve months after its launch, drawing on some of the scene’s biggest names and defying the odds to become a heavy hitter in the industrial techno sphere. On Arkham Audio 07, label owner Cri Du Coeur delivers a rolling, broken number with Jeffrey. As sparse as it is effective, the track is driven by saturated kickdrums and white noise percussion, with a vocal sample which placed exquisitely between the kicks, creating a rhythm greater than the sum of their parts. Jeffrey (Techno 909 Edit) straightens out the original with a dose of the 909s for a cleaner but still highly functional dancefloor workout.

A trio of remixes come from heavyweights Drumcell, Insolate and Luis Flores. L.A based Drumcell takes an atmospheric route, the reverbs bigger and brighter than the original, with the vocal twisted and pitched down beyond recognition. Croatian Insolate makes things altogether more playful, introducing a bubbling bass line and shuffling hats to the mix, and adding a 16th note arpeggio to place a completely different slant on things with her remix. Berghain regular Luis Flores adds an extended breakdown and some impressive sound design to create a palpable level of tension before reintroducing the pounding kick drums to his twisted rework.

Press Info:
After a busy 2020 Cri du Coeur is back with more music to ring in the new year! Slave In & Slave Out is an exciting five track EP that will be released digitally, and features two original tracks with remixes from Lady Starlight, Joe Farr, and Adam X.

Two versions of the same song, “Slave In” features a rolling bassline, trippy syncopated percussion, and a dystopic vibe, while “Slave Out” includes many of the same elements, but is more subtle and has less of a dark atmosphere. All three remixes are takes on “Slave In”. Lady Starlight’s version is faster, with a bouncy synth line and horror film-esque soundscapes. Joe Farr’s cut is rough and raw, with prominent use of the vocal sample “systems activated”.

Rounding out the project is legendary NYC producer Adam X, delivering an intense vibe with rhythmic claps, clambering percussion and sci-fi sounds. Slave In & Slave Out will be released on February 26th on Cri du Coeur’s label Arkham Audio. The label had an exciting 2020, most recently releasing a compilation of remixes of the legendary track “Anasthasia” by T99. Slave In & Slave Out is sure to be another successful project in Arkham Audio’s catalog, so don’t sleep!

Press Info:
T99, aka Belgian techno duo Patrick de Meyer and Olivier Abbeloos, haunted the raving dancefloors of the early 90’s techno scene and gained interminable notoriety following the release of their hit track ‘Anasthasia’ in 1991. Floating between hardcore and ambient techno, their unique sound still resonates at the core of the modern rave scene and the undying essence of the supreme rave anthem that is ‘Anasthasia’ still lives on.

Two decades on, tenacious techno figurehead Jerome Delfosse aka Cri Du Coeur has popularised his new alias and Arkham Audio label boasting the ultimate electrifying sound. It comes as no surprise that these 90s music legends have come together to bring us the sweet nectar of old-school rave infused with the voguish touch of modern techno with this ‘T99 – Anasthasia Remixes’ compilation on Arkham Audio including remixes of the original anthem by Dave Clarke, Chris Liebing, Coyu, Truncate, JoeFarr, Secret Cinema, Oliver Deutschmann, Madben, CYRK, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Cri Du Coeur, Exterminador, and H! Dude.

Starting us off is Dave Clarke whose take on the original mix infects the soul with exotic drum patterns and hair-raising breaks. Chris Liebing leads us into extraterrestrial territory with hazy baselines, futuristic melodies and endless space echoes taking central focus. Suspense looms as Coyu breaks into the scene with a glitching distortion of the original melody and a racing deep-techno baseline. Truncate takes the pedal off the metal on our hardcore techno journey and steers us into a buoyant tribal moment with a frenzy of tropical rhythms. JoeFarr pushes the track into powerful immortal oblivion with an overload of lightning bolt melodies and throbbing baselines. Layers of dance-inducing effervescent rhythms take control in Secret Cinema’s remix, while Deutschmann brings his potent big room dancefloor sound to the fore with the infusion of raunchy hi-hat rhythms. Madben strips the track bare in the first half of his remix, letting the reverberating melody unwind itself slowly before slamming us back into up-tempo madness.

The CYRK remix boasts an electrifying melody surrounded by an expansive celestial soundscape and hazy vocals, followed by D.A.V.E. The Drummer who stays true to his name with a remix that packs in an extravagant selection of percussive patterns. Arkham label head Cri Du Couer opens up his remix with an ear-tickling hi-hat rhythm that expands into a rage of animalistic screeches as the original melody echoes in the distant background. Exterminador introduces us to his enigmatic Eurodance soundscape with twangy cosmic sounds and a mysterious serpentine base melody. Last but not least, H! Dude’s remix rounds off the compilation with an intoxicating brew of psychedelic melodies and clapping rhythms.

Arkham Audio has brought together the most perfect lineup of long-standing techno overlords to deliver the ‘T99 – Anasthasia Remixes’ compilation, bringing us back to the euphoric nostalgia of the iconic rave scene while tickling the palette with a thrashing selection of modernistic remixes. Listeners can look forward to the upcoming release of sneak peek audio clips and the full compilation digital release on December 11th via Arkham Audio!
