In trying times like these it is of uttermost importance to not lose one’s ability to imagine different realities. In a time where our sense for the ‘what could be’ is numbed, our horizon is limited, maybe we should envision a bold, bright, beautiful future. Try to think about the most impossible, most outrageous form of beauty, a community truly made only out of love, acceptance and equity. An unreachable ideal, a utopia. In a time where physical contact is limited and our only means of communication and support for each other as a community is made possible trough digital media we should not forget how important physical experiences are, especially for us queers. We can build a community online but with its cracks and glitches it reveals itself as less then enough, less than a full experience. Physical spaces, physical touch, physical sensation are important! And we want to encourage you to imaging a place where we can all come together and embrace each us, sweat with each other and dance euphorically together, feeling one with the beat. In the meantime we want to offer you what we can, a digital glimpse of hope. The equivalent of a long look in the eyes. A reminder of what could be.
