Samo Rane

Introduction:
Samo Rane is a DJ/producer who in the end of 2015 escaped from Iran due the strict politic and laws against parties: these are heavily forbidden. Once he found refuge in Berlin, he approached activism through music.

Samo established, in this way, the radio show, podcast series and record label “mercyTechno”. A platform that fights for human rights and for the elimination of violence in this world.

Samo is also resident DJ at Art Bei Ton. He played at CTM-Festival in2019 and in some of the Berliner underground queer events and club’s with solid action’s like DURCH, STAUB, ://about_blank, Griessmuehle, Art Bei Ton, Suicide Circus, Acud Macht Neu, Fiese Remiese, Mikro Disko, Transmission Queer Festival, Bewegungsfreiheit and Sea-Watch.

He also released more than 20 track’s on his own record label mercyTechno, had an EP on Burial Soil and contributed tracks to Berlin labels like Bewegungsfreiheit. The Burial Solid EP and the track on Bewegungsfreiheit were released for solidarity actions like “refugees welcome”.

Samo is just a free soul in a human body being active for refugees, female and LGBTQIA* rights e.g. with his recent series “We Are One” on mercyTechno.

Amperia

Introduction:
Amperia aka Aurelia Dinamita: Queer, non binary, Berlin-based raver, club worker, record collector, and DJ. Also resident and curator of Autopoiesis and poly|motion podcasts. Under Aurelia Dinamita runs the post-punk-wave queer events Dis/Tanz and Trash me.

Amperia (she, he, they) started in 2005 in Madrid working as a promoter in the underground goth scene, she noticed the lack of women and trans behind tech creating the music and mixing it.

In 2010 he moved to Berlin and made the resolution with friends that it was time to amplify each other and create a better party space for FLINTA people. Their very first collective post punk queer event was called “desperate living”.

In 2012 they started the queer party line Trash Me which became an success in Berlin’s post punk night life. Amperia also conceptualized and developed the FLINTA party lines Dis/Tanz a sex positive wave-postpunk soliparty and Autopoesis: whose focus was is to empower women and trans* people in the night scene through loud, fat, and buzzy beats.

In 2016 she joined the SoundSysters Crew and has been an amazing force of inspiration and solidarity. She offers DJ Workshops, generously sharing expertise and empowering people to mix sound and to be loud and powerful.

Around 2018 joined another party crew, this time based on sexy down pitched techno with also a strong focus on FLINTA acts: poly|motion.

When he’s not DJing, works as a light and sound technician in different venues and public events.

Ike Dusk

Introduction:
Ike Dusk is a german based artist and has been honing his skills in production for the past several years. Originally a DJ since the early 2000’s (yeah, he only played Vinyl), Ike’s passion für electronic music made him start his own productions in 2013, which led to his first EP release on JoeFarr’s Label User Experience (RIP) in 2018.

He subsequently released his tracks & remixes on numerous labels like Animal Farm, Mindcut , Green Fetish, Codec 992 or Diffuse Reality just to name a few and his productions gained support by the likes of:
Dave Clarke, Surgeon, Dave Tarrida, Cleric, Dax J, Dj Dextro, Seatoc Mass, Endlec, Manni Dee, JoeFarr, Ghost In The Machine, Tommy Four Seven, Rebekah, Fernanda Martins and more.

Quote from Ike:
„My greatest personal achievements to date were having my tracks played by Dave Clarke in his White Noise Radioshow, Surgeon opening his Dekmantel Set with one of my tracks and Dax J. including me in his BBC Essential Mix. That’s what keeps me going and still makes me proud. Never would have imagined that when i started making tracks back then.“Not your typical social media guy, Ike sees himself more of a producers producer and is constantly developing his music instead of searching for instagram content.

Introduction:
10.000 BC is the new project of .defaultbox label head Patrick. He started his new project in order to tap back into his passion of electronic music he had in over 20 years. Aside from mainly Techno, 10.000 BC provides also a mix of Ambient, Electro, House and Electronica, focused on the essence of music and avoiding too much of todays digital consumption by playing vinyl only again.
