SLV’s ‘Berlin. A Portrait In Music’ album on Soma receives a string of remixes from Setaoc Mass, Stanislav Tolkachev, Conforce, as well as a VIP mix from SLV himself.

Hailing from Berlin, SLV is well respected for his melancholic sound design and crystalline soundscapes having released on labels like Ilario Alicante’s Virgo and Slam’s Soma. Following the release of SLV’s ambient ‘Berlin. A Portrait In Music’ album, Slam’s iconic label has invited a powerful selection of techno producers to reimagine a handful of tracks; Figure, Clergy and Work Them Records producer Setaoc Mass; Ukraine’s master of mind-bending techno, Stanislav Tolkachev; and also Delsin regular Conforce.

‘Dust’ by SK_Eleven founder Setaoc Mass brings melodic flare with enveloping synths above dark rumbling lows, before SLV’s injects some energy into ‘Talking With The Shadows’ with his own Rave Mix.

incorporating moody tones and slow flowing arps with dark cavernous reverb. Krill and Mord artist Stanislav Tolkachev then offers a steady beat with euphoric chimes and vinyl hiss for his stripped back ‘First Day In The City’, preceding Dutch artist Conforce’s ‘Forest Voices’ which balances unearthly sound design and a steppy drum pattern.

Niclas Erlandsson is striving for a more brutal and ruthless version of the typical Swedish techno sound. He delivers percussion-driven, aggressive and relentless techno that stupefies the listener to submit to the rhythm.

His natural habitat is placed next to Rebekah, Dasha Rush, Perc and Dax J. Foregoing melody for pummeling and perpetual tracks with a mixture of techno, acid, EBM and breakbeats.

Emerging on the scene in 2016 with ‘Trollskog’ EP, remixed by rraph, subsequently gaining him massive recognition from community peers such as Slam, Flug, Amotik, A.Mochi and many, many more. His high standards, dedication to the craft and eagerness to experiment with new techniques results in quality techno, as evidenced by his releases on Gynoid Audio, Elektrax Recordings and Counter Pulse. (among others)

At this point Niclas was still living in Sweden, tired of the stale scene, he and two friends started throwing underground parties reminiscent of the 90’s, in abandoned warehouses and winecellars. With 11 years of DJing experience he have played alongside the likes of Planet Rhythm founder Glenn Wilson and Mattias Fridell.

As a young and emerging producer, Niclas vision is simple; redefine expectations of what ‘Swedish techno’ is and become a reference point in the techno industry.

In the last years the Berlin-based duo Ausgang got attention in the worldwide techno scene through releases on their own label Ausgang Records. Nico and Roseen show on their first LP a clear vision of taste and quality, coming from the true techno culture.
