FS Bart select tracks for their DJ sets from trippy Acid to brute Industrial. As producers FS Bart are welding raw, dystopic and minimalistic materials to dark athmospheric stompers. FS Bart the proud founders, members and innovators of 12 o’Clock.

After previously contributing a track for the Batch Plant mini compilation series, Swiss duo FS Bart channel their dystopian and raw sound appeal for their first full EP on moC.

‘Subjective Truth’ kicks off proceedings with a hollowed-out, serrated pad on top of a straightforward bassline, creating a buzz of electricity. ‘Self Deception’ follows in the same vein, but with an added addictive swing, sitting somewhere between an utilitarian track and a dancefloor heater. ‘Simulation And Imagination’ is an introspective dubby exploration dancing around spaced out pads and industrial loops. The Reason Y teams up with Chris Hirose for the remix, turning track into yet another club weapon, underlining the integrated focus of the release.

Bade Records owners and two-time remix contributors Morven return to made of CONCRETE with their first full EP, with label member Toni Dextor up for remix duties.

“Western Super” is a slice of dance-inducing undulating techno, with a subdued percussion and catchy glitches ebbing and flowing as its obscure vocal seems to sputter through a radio loudspeaker in the backdrop. Another heavy-hitter comes in the shape of “Shift”, which amps up the tension through its hard bassline and menacing snares. “Grindhouse” is yet another immersive, hazy dub techno piece which mesmerises from the get go.

Toni Dextor’s remix of “Western Super” takes a detour into dark techno with effervescent synths and a subdued version of the vocal, leaving more room for the high impact of the enveloping, throbbing bass.

Berlin based techno producer and performer Alexander Kowalski joins forces with Athenian George Apergis for a three-piece EP, with moC fixture Alek S on remix duties.

‘Europa’ is a smashing, hammering-everything-in-its-way kind of track, with a catchy bassline and ominous, spacious pads that keep the energy locked. ‘Phoenix’ is loaded with sonic details in the form of zig zagging synths, scintillating pads and sudden glitches that make for a relentless slice. On ‘Cilix’, the atmosphere decompresses into a stripped down, bare-bones construction. Alek S chooses to apply the remix treatment to ‘Europa’, turning it into a rhythmic exploration that oscillates between dub techno and glitch-heavy ambient.

Rebar go full on dystopian on their ‘The Rise Of A Crisis’ EP. Despite the suggestive title, the first two tracks were composed before the crisis period, yet seem to fit in “perfectly” with the times.

Title track is an immersive incursion padded with drone zaps and warped basslines that instills tension as well as elation, as the tension is released. ‘Ray Of Light’ offers some much needed introspection in a slice of heads down dub techno with a slight progressive tinge. Drums are the quintessence of rhythm on ‘Enter The Void’, as percussion creates endless spiralling loops of infectious grooves. Ahead of his full release on the label, Alexander Kowalski joins with a reinterpretation of the title track. Known for aptly fusing elements from classic Detroit and historical Berlin techno, it’s this imprint that he applies to the track, turning it into a sleek, electro-spacey cut.
