After a long break, pole is returning in 2011.
This break was necessary for pole to find his musical direction and produce a series of new tracks, starting with this 12inch. Other music will be released later this year and in 2012. With these three easy going and wonderful works, pole connects once more with his past. From his albums “1”, “2” and “3” via “pole” to “Steingarten”, pole rediscovers and reworks the characteristic warmth and deepness of his sound.

Bass and space are at the heart of both this new release and the specially established artist label “pole.” The warm experimental atmosphere is grooving slow and easy, carried from the funk of an old rhythm machine and connected through pole´s typically endless echo chambers.

“Waldgeschichten” is the first of a series of releases that will conclude with an album.

Front Left represents a very special corner in a very special spot on this planet. Every week the front left people gather together to celebrate techno music.

Techno is what brings us together and what makes us family to one another. We rejoice listening to it, produce it, talk about it, share it and mainly dance to it.

It is incredible how one physical spot creates so such magic and human connection.

This label brings the productions of the front left people to the world.

In the first release, you will find Elad Magdasi, a heavy dancer and an emotional producer. His productions are wide-ranged and loaded with a true rave spirit, combining an acid-line treatment and his melodic point of view. In the last two years Elad’s productions turned to the techno side, and now he feels it’s time to finally let his music out. Gathering knowledge and figuring out his style brought him to this point. His love for raving is what keeps his mojo going and brings the inspiration to his life.

Joining the first release is Matrixxman (Charlie Duff), the talented producer who’s been shaking dance floor with his hit “Protocol” for already 2 years and now releasing his debut album on Ghostly. Not surprisingly, the connection between Elad and Matrixxman was also formed on the Front Left.

The first release combines a slick collection of sounds.

Listen to the intense, pulsing remix of the new electronic Martin Gore track ‘Pinking’, taken from his critically acclaimed solo project MG and remixed by Swedish producer, DJ and musician, Christoffer Berg.

‘Pinking’ is one of the many highlights on Gore’s evocative 16-track electronic instrumental album, MG, which is out now on Mute. The album is creates an absorbing and emotional sonic landscape, and was described by VICE as “a textural, complicated album”. Explaining the appeal of a purely instrumental record, Martin says, “I am aware of the power of pure music and the emotions that can be created by musical atmospheres and that is what I wanted to capture with this project.”

Christoffer Berg is well known for his programming work, perhaps most notably on Depeche Mode’s 2013 album ‘Delta Machine’, where he worked closely with Martin, exploring his vast selection of vintage synthesizers and gear. Christoffer also remixed the VCMG track ‘Aftermaths’.

Note: it is part of the remix EP (see link below) so this release was removed from the stores.
