Press Info:
Hakimonu and Głós are The Celestial Lineage!

Following their debut EP as The Celestial Lineage five years ago, the duo consisting of Hakimonu and his European counterpart Głós from Berlin, continues its journey of blending their unique styles together and meeting in their artistic middle.

On their second output, Hakimonu’s organic Dub sessions—for which he is well-known by now—meld with Głós’s rainy Techno-rooted bar romanticism.

Both the Piano and Cello play a very pro-minent part in this experimental EP and revisit a composition both producers worked on in 2010 already.

While the first version of ‘A Lineage Of Ghosts’ is very reminiscent of their 2013 debut and tries to build a bridge between both releases, the other three pieces are meddling with the usual listening habits of their audience to an almost surprising level. Together, all four compositions take you on a journey, marking their fall from the celestial skyline to the depths of the ocean.

Press Info:
Another amazing release is delivered by the guys behind Suburban Avenue: Asymptote.

90′ inspired, ” Too Blind To See” is the perfect fusion between elements of the old school, and new sonorities.

On the A side, A1 “Pistis” is a dark-gothic-ambient intro; A2 “Don’t Believe the Hype” is an effective, acidic, 1990’s school Dj Techno tool. A3 “Doxa” is a driving and pulsating trip, with increasing tension.

On the B side, both B1 “Too blind To See” and B2 “No Truth” are two fine dark and big room Techno tracks, ready for the dancefloor. B3 “Sirens Song” is a glitched and spaced out outro.

Press Info:
Form001 presents a compilation of 4 transcendent cuts, that perfectly fit into the sound that Form and Function embodies, though with a different approach in mind.

On the A-side, Kafim starts the exploration with “Kisin”. The trancey bassline that dictates the pace of this track, combined with a variety of distinctive sounds, make it sound almost otherworldly. As it defies the ideas of a vast structure, this trip almost seems to continue to an infinite space before it fades out.

The second track on the A-side, by the hand of the only non-Belgian artist of this compilation: Qindek. “Two Birds” pushes the envelope with hard-hitting techno infused with dizzying noise and a joint-venture between high-pitched pads and repetitive low ends.

The B-side lifts off with modular madness by Siwei. Kickdrums decide the tempo in a tribal way on layers of ambient sounds and hi-hats in different forms.

Thomas Hayes finalizes the release with “Non Solo”, which is partially slow burner: this track chooses to advance in a gradual manner, by appending elements, almost one by one. This progression continues until the climax, where you get some acid sounds that lastly continue to the end of the track.

Press Info:
VOLPHONIE is the creation of French based artist Chris Honorat and set to focus on twisted, hypnotic, techno grooves, balancing the notion of introspection with dance floor appeal.

Their first releases featured contributions from Scan X, Marcel Fengler, Electric Rescue, Flug, and Andre Kronert, where the third EP welcomes Sølaxid to the roster along with Arnaud Le Texier providing the sole remix.

Baptiste Jaillant aka Sølaxid is no stranger to some, with fifteen years of DJ and production experience to his name, the French maestro is welcomed for his debut following EP’s on Marla Singer’s Lunar Limited, Dolby D’s Dolma Records, and Music From Exo-Planet.

London based veteran Arnaud Le Texier heads up the highly respected Children of Tomorrow label, whilst also seeing his music released on Sven Väth’s Cocoon, Joachim Spieth’s Affin, Marco Bailey’s MBR Limited and Christian Wünsch’s Tsunami Records to name only a few.

“Moon Light” has a thumping and thundering beat that paves the way for the euphoric and jovial synth work that will no doubt cause a storm on dance floors around the globe, with its deep rooted nostalgic presence.

The second track “Sense Of Life” is a grinding, warm modular trip, that’s bursting with energy, raw power and heads down attitude, for those who like it straight to the point.

Arnaud’s remix of “Cultura” comes before the original, where he creates a menacing atmosphere that blends with hypnotic and droning sounds. Progressive and edgy, the added chords and tones breathe emotion into this mechanical masterpiece.

The “Cultura” original completes the four tracks here, that kicks things off with piercing tension from a stabbing sub bass. The punchy beat steadily rises through the gears with drum rolls and high pitched whines, this is a perfect tool for the discerning DJ.
