Hakimonu and Głós are The Celestial Lineage!
Following their debut EP as The Celestial Lineage five years ago, the duo consisting of Hakimonu and his European counterpart Głós from Berlin, continues its journey of blending their unique styles together and meeting in their artistic middle.
On their second output, Hakimonu’s organic Dub sessions—for which he is well-known by now—meld with Głós’s rainy Techno-rooted bar romanticism.
Both the Piano and Cello play a very pro-minent part in this experimental EP and revisit a composition both producers worked on in 2010 already.
While the first version of ‘A Lineage Of Ghosts’ is very reminiscent of their 2013 debut and tries to build a bridge between both releases, the other three pieces are meddling with the usual listening habits of their audience to an almost surprising level. Together, all four compositions take you on a journey, marking their fall from the celestial skyline to the depths of the ocean.

Another amazing release is delivered by the guys behind Suburban Avenue: Asymptote.
90′ inspired, ” Too Blind To See” is the perfect fusion between elements of the old school, and new sonorities.
On the A side, A1 “Pistis” is a dark-gothic-ambient intro; A2 “Don’t Believe the Hype” is an effective, acidic, 1990’s school Dj Techno tool. A3 “Doxa” is a driving and pulsating trip, with increasing tension.
On the B side, both B1 “Too blind To See” and B2 “No Truth” are two fine dark and big room Techno tracks, ready for the dancefloor. B3 “Sirens Song” is a glitched and spaced out outro.

Form001 presents a compilation of 4 transcendent cuts, that perfectly fit into the sound that Form and Function embodies, though with a different approach in mind.
On the A-side, Kafim starts the exploration with “Kisin”. The trancey bassline that dictates the pace of this track, combined with a variety of distinctive sounds, make it sound almost otherworldly. As it defies the ideas of a vast structure, this trip almost seems to continue to an infinite space before it fades out.
The second track on the A-side, by the hand of the only non-Belgian artist of this compilation: Qindek. “Two Birds” pushes the envelope with hard-hitting techno infused with dizzying noise and a joint-venture between high-pitched pads and repetitive low ends.
The B-side lifts off with modular madness by Siwei. Kickdrums decide the tempo in a tribal way on layers of ambient sounds and hi-hats in different forms.
Thomas Hayes finalizes the release with “Non Solo”, which is partially slow burner: this track chooses to advance in a gradual manner, by appending elements, almost one by one. This progression continues until the climax, where you get some acid sounds that lastly continue to the end of the track.
