Beste Hira started her musical career at a young age. While completing her high school and university education majoring in the classical cello and classical piano branches of the music department.

She also wanted to improve herself in the field of jazz in which she was interested and managed to get her certificate with her performance in the European Jazz Workshop.

She moved to Amsterdam in 2019 to bring the music she produced and her mixes. To step further destinations in her career, focussing on production, she will present her EP, which will be released on October 16, 2020, to the whole world via Schimmer Records.

Beste Hira aimed to capture a fluent sound by including groove rhythms and hypnotic sounds in her music. Bordo Ep is named after her song Bordo. The jazz sounds she used in Bordo have always been the ones that she have been impressed with. She likes to use this approach in her music.

At the same time, her song titles always have a story for her and each of them is so precious.

A trio of remixes from Luke Slater’s studio give new life to Scuba’s ‘This Is For You’, while marking the influential artist’s Hotflush debut.

The musical exchange between Paul Rose (Scuba) and Luke Slater began last summer when the Hotflush boss put his touch to Slater’s 1997 classic ‘Love’, dedicating it to London’s Kings Cross raving institution Bagleys, where he first heard the track.

Slater’s gift back to Scuba is similarly stirring. His L.B Dub Corp remix takes the original to subterranean depths, as a persistent snaking groove rubs shoulders with atmospheric fills and flecks of guitar for an enchanting finish.

Luke Slater’s Remix (Long Version) serves as a proper electronic jam session charting a course from dubby techno climes, to ecstatic string-laden builds, jazzy introspection and dreamy pads over a thrilling 22-minutes.

Linn Elisabet is a Swedish born artist, actively involved in Berlin’s techno scene as DJ, producer, and label founder. The drive behind their involvement in music is deeply rooted in their classical music schooling – something that still prevails Linn’s own productions and track selection as an echo of the days spent in orchestras and choirs. At the same time, their fondness for raw and broken beats moulded their idiosyncratic and affectionate interpretation of techno music. For Linn alternative dance music is a world of boundless opportunities, transgressively referring to both music and gender identity. They envision it as a dynamic process liberated from established frameworks, schemes, and societal norms. Within music we can be whoever, and whatever, we want to be – a heart which is ready for anything.

2020 has been a very prolific year for the the duo, delivering their 4th EP for the label so far this year. All their firing trademark sounds and intricacies remain intact in this 3 track hard hitting release.

Severed opens with hard, industrial elements as the relentless percussion fires off, but in true Slam style the vibe remains hypnotic and engaging. Motor drifts into more Birmingham-esq territory with twitch and modulating sequences leading the way again straight, jacked up percussion. Intensifying things on the last track, Electrical turns up the drive and delivers tension with white knuckle percussive workouts, thundering kicks and dynamic synths.
