Press Info:
This time around we want to initiate the beginning of summer with our first Stützpunkt Family Affair. We invite all of you to party with us at Arena Club to make this a special one.

For our Family Affair we have decided to invite London-born and now Berlin-based DJ and producer Abayomi. His sound is influenced by deep, raw Detroit techno, dirty Chicago house music and edgy UK bass. His driving, hypnotic productions and DJ sets prove him a forward-thinking figure of the techno scene. Abayomi’s self-named vinyl label, like his DJ sets, unites elements of deep, raw Detroit techno, dirty Chicago house with strong London attitude. The imprint was launched in 2015 as a vehicle for his first issue under the Abayomi moniker. We are happy to have him with us.

Always a major highlight at our parties, Chami has become quite the talk of the town. The strong and determined vinyl only sets of our Moroccan resident have become an illustration of the Stützpunkt series, purely creating an exceptional atmosphere. We are proud to have him as one of our cornerstones.
This time his back-to-back partner will be our resident Saturator. He has been with us since the very beginning and has really helped shape our image and especially our sound, as his style is never limited to only one genre of electronic music. This will be their first set together so we are very excited for what they will hit us with.

Staím, one of our residents and co-founder of Stützpunkt, will close this nights party once again. He has a reputation for murdering every dance floor he lays his eyes on and will surely deliver some big room bangers. His style is perfect to close out every techno party in the morning hours.
Tymotica, who is also part of the Munich based Ruffhouse crew, is one of our newer residents. He definitely opens up our musical range, as his style is somewhere in-between Techno, Ambient and UK Bass. He has had his first release on a compilation by Banlieu Records, showcasing his tremendous talent production-wise. Let’s see what this two will have up their sleeves for us.

We really couldn’t celebrate our first Family Affair without our most cherished duo Background Radiation – who are also co-founders of Stützpunkt. This once again highly anticipated DJ set will feature the golden pieces of their vinyl collection and you can be sure that they will present the right spirit at the right time. If you have been following us for a while you know that they will definitely not disappoint.

We are very excited for this first installment of Stützpunkt Family Affair. Over the past two and a half years everyone who has been at our parties has contributed to the unique atmosphere which defines Stützpunkt. In this spirit, let’s make this one a very special one.

Press Info:
Let’s start this year the only right way – with another edition of Stützpunkt at Arena Club.

Lewis Fautzi
Lewis Fautzi has truly been one of the most exciting artists in techno. With releases on Figure, PoleGroup and the creation of his own label Faut Sessions, he has definitely left his mark on this culture’s landscape. All of this could easily make one forget that he is still only in his mid twenties. Nuno Mendonça maybe said it best: „The gleam of cosmic light reflects on polished surfaces, which sometimes trace long smooth curves, other times end in edges, outlining a powerful machine piercing a path between the gravitational pull of a black hole, and the attraction of the brightness of a newly-born star. If Lewis Fautzi’s sound could be materialized, it would look something like this.“

ZIPPO
Z.I.P.P.O, who is originally from Locorotondo in Italy and is now based in Berlin, has consistently excited us with his music over the past years. His style range is so wide, ranging from techno over house to electro – not only his production but also especially his djing show this great sense of understanding for electronic music. His ability to mix it up and surprise the listener every time with his vision, has enabled him to not only play the dark industrial halls but also the sunny terraces of the world. We are very much looking forward to what he will bring this time for Stützpunkt.

OP/H b2b Staím
OP/H and Staím, two of our valued residents, will close this nights party with their first b2b set together. Our French weapon OP/H, who has recently become a resident for the Marseille based Ô Galop, will definitely bring the most precious gems of his collection – and Staím, who has a reputation for murdering every dance floor he lays his eyes on, will surely deliver some big room bangers. Let’s see what these two will stun us with.

Chontane
Chontane – a friend and supporter of us for quite some time – will complete this nights lineup. Formerly a part of the Berlin based Krach, he is now the newest addition to London based THEM, where he will soon release his debut EP. His style is characterized by mesmerizing breakbeat and percussion-driven techno. We are very happy that he will finally play his first set for Stützpunkt.

After a rather long three month break we are more than ready for this one and we believe you are as well. See you there!

Press Info:
Stützpunkt is back at Arena Club after a couple of summer home games. So of course we had to put together a proper lineup to celebrate our return.

Stanislav Tolkachev
Stanislav Tolkachev is a techno pioneer from Ukraine. His productions are influenced both by the classic sound of Detroit and the sleek minimalistic tendencies born in Berlin. He is focused on experimentation with textures and psychedelic sounds, taking inspiration from many different sources. His music has been released on many labels, including M_Rec, Semantica, MORD and Geophone. Being one of the most diverse artists in the scene, he has been shaping his sound for quite some time now. We are very happy that he will be with us.

Mørbeck b2b Under Black Helmet
We are happy to announce that Code Is Law label boss Mørbeck will team up with Lithuanian but now Berlin based DJ/producer Under Black Helmet for this edition of Stützpunkt. Both of them have had strong releases on labels such as Code Is Law, MORD or Soma. Even though they are djing solo most of the time, the two label mates aren’t sharing the decks for the first time. We are excited to hear what these two minds will create together. This highly anticipated back to back is definitely not to be missed.

S VЛ Т
SVЛT (Savant) is the latest addition to our roster – but he is in no way new to Stützpunkt parties. In fact he played the very first set ever at one of our parties, back in September 2015. Born and raised in Hamburg he found his passion in techno which pulled him to Berlin. His productions have already developed a distinguishable sound, focusing on dark, noise-driven industrial-techno. We are very excited for his set as his understanding and passion for high energy industrial will transpire in his mix.

Nostitz b2b Karschau
After our party back in February 2016 at Humboldthain on which we collaborated, we are happy to have the two organizers of Background. Codes – Nostitz and Karschau – back with us. They are good friends and have been supporters of Stützpunkt for quite some time now, so it is only right that they finally make their Arena Club debut for us. On this night they will play the opening slot, showcasing a bit of a different side to their usual style. We are looking forward to hearing what they’ve got up their sleeves.

It has been a while since our last party at Arena Club so we are more than happy to be back and are looking forward to seeing you there.

Press Info:
For the second time this summer we hit Humboldthain Club to celebrate the second anniversary of Stützpunkt.

nthng
Very little is known about mysterious Amsterdam producer nthng, but those who have been enraptured by his hazy, emotive and driving productions have only touched the edge of a vast shrouded techno landscape. Inspired by the early days of techno and trance, before it became a dirty word, nthng’s sound blends a heady mix of murky, undulating, tectonic drum work alongside drifting, melodic synth lines that melt into the 6am sun. His latest releases have hit the scene hard and got amazing feedback from all corners. We are proud to have him with us this time.

Jeff Rushin
Amsterdam-based DJ, producer and promotor Jeff Rushin’s ongoing affair with electronic music began somewhere in the ‘90s. Whilst exploring the wide array of music on offer at that time, he stumbled upon techno and was sold ever since. By delving deeper and deeper into this newfound universe, techno quickly evolved from hobby to addiction and ended being a lifestyle. By experimenting with layers of sounds, loops and voices, Rushin injects a sense of depth, warmth and energy into both his productions and performances. We are looking forward to what he has in store for us.

ONNI
For his whole life Onni has been passionate about music. Growing up in the 90’s he loved listening to Hip-Hop; hearing drums, rhythms, basslines, and deep lyrics. In the following years he wanted to be a contributor instead of just being a consumer. He made a move to become a DJ by widening his musical perspective. He started spinning at various clubs in Istanbul, being a regular at Istanbul’s infamous Kloster which closed last year. After moving to Berlin earlier this year he quickly set foot and played at clubs like KaterBlau or Chalet. We are looking forward to his debut with us.

Chami
Always a major highlight at our parties, Chami has become quite the talk of the town. The strong and determined vinyl only sets of our Moroccan resident have become an illustration of the Stützpunkt series, purely creating an exceptional atmosphere. This summer he played in Barcelona for Sonar Off-Week alongside some of the scene’s biggest names. Even earlier this year he has played his first closing set for us – one of the most special memories in two years of Stützpunkt. We are proud to have him as one of our cornerstones.

Minijob
We are very excited to have the French trio Minijob with us again. The Oben floor is still shaking from their excessive 6 hour disco closing over a year ago. The guys who are based in Berlin have made quite a name of themselves, playing in many clubs around town and also throwing legendary open airs at different locations throughout the entire year. They will bring their broad selection of disco and house with them to once again play the Oben closing slot. Be prepared for another set of madness.

Background Radiation
We really couldn’t celebrate our anniversary without our most cherished duo Background Radiation. This once again highly anticipated DJ set will feature the golden pieces of their vinyl collection and you can be sure that they will present the right spirit at the right time. If you have been following us for a while you know that they will definitely not disappoint.

Kontrast
Kontrast is a young DJ from Berlin who has been a close friend of our series from the earliest days on. Finally it is time now for his debut at Humboldthain Club. His passion for techno has been developing for a very long time now as the Berlin native has been basically sitting at the source of all of it his entire life. We are very much looking forward to his set.

Felix Tosend
Felix Tosend is one half of Docmadeli who have played on our Oben floor twice in the past two years. This will be the first time that he will pay solo for us. He will do the Oben opening with a mix ranging from downbeat house all the way to cheesy vocal house. His sets are sure to bring joy and ecstasy to everyone present and we are happy that he will once again play some tunes for us.

We are excited to celebrate our second anniversary at our Wedding home base and are looking forward to seeing many familiar and unfamiliar faces. Bring it on!
