DEAS returns to Chris Liebing’s label for the fifth time this November

Poland’s DEAS kicks off his ‘Maniac’ two-tracker on CLR with title track ‘Maniac’, featuring deep, sub-heavy rhythms accompanied by techno stabs that dart playfully over its groove. Leaving the cover of the smoke machines then comes ‘Bunker’, another monstrous warehouse track with a front-loaded low-end shot-through with hefty synth hits.

Planet Rhythm, Arts, and ara artist DEAS has long been a staple on CLR, first appearing on the label in 2021 with the ‘Command’ EP. He’s since dropped three more releases on Chris Liebing’s imprint, the latest being his 2023 ‘Fear’ EP, which won support from the likes of Dave Clarke, Dubfire, Bloody Mary, Amanda Mussi & many more.

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like Shlomi Aber, Drumcell, Truncate and more while also focussing on developing newer acts in the scene such as B. Riley, The Southern, and Klint.
