Kicking off 2024, Crave Tapes presents a stellar line up of both international live acts and local DJs at Slaughterhouse, Berlin.

For their Berlin debut, we warmly welcome The Violent Youth from Augsburg/Minsk – an international new wave, post punk duo led by a belarussian singer and multi-instumentalist Arthur Tsymbal together with Julian Riegel on bass.

Rooted in the Minsk underground post-punk scene, The Violent Youth has stepped on the European scene with confidence. Influenced by synth-pop, post-punk and rock of the 80s their distinctive sound is ever evolving into a palette that is dark yet multifaceted and vulnerable.

Sharing the stage with artists such as Drangsal or Edwin Rosen and releasing DIY music videos, The Violent Youth is steadily growing a loyal fanbase both in Germany and internationally. After having released on labels such as à La Carte Records and Youth & Cold Records their newest LP “Na Igle” (eng. – addicted) will be released on Artoffact Records in January 2024.

The Violent Youth will be supported by Berlin local hero and EBM terminator, XTR Human, as well as Larasüß, a promising newcomer known from the infamous Diffus Spotify playlist „Neue Neue Deutsche Welle“.

Crave Tapes founder Desolate Discotheque will play a special hybrid set with live vocals and drums right after the concerts. The aftershow party will feature DJ sets by Carlos Grabstein and Berlin Bunny. Completing the line up is our resident Xpresso Martina, who will be on warm up duties prior to the concerts.
