Lover’s of the World is Mark Reeder’s call to save the planet.
It was originally composed in 1986 as a Shark Vegas song and was recorded and released by his project Alien Nation on MFS.
This new version is featured as the end-title song for Hermann Vaske’s documentary film, Can Creativity Save The World?
The message and overall theme of the song itself hasn’t changed, although the situation of the Planet certainly has. When the song was written, Global warming was a warning, now it’s a reality.
When the song was composed, the cold war was at it’s height and nuclear holocaust seemed like a possibility.
Today, we are involved in a hot war and nuclear holocaust is an ever increasing probability.
Is this the future World we all want to live in?
