About the concept:
Here is the seventy-seventh instalment of our series “abc plays xyz”.
The idea behind it is to ask some DJs/mixing artists if they have an artist or label in mind that they love and would like to use for a mix.
So the approach of each mix is clear: the choosen DJ/mixing artist makes a selection of tracks produced by one artist (and her/his monikers) or released on a label (and its sublabels) and creates a nice mix from it.

About VSSL:
Born and raised in Munich, VSSL disovered his passion for Music already in his younger Years. Playing various instruments during his youth brought him the basic musical knowledge, which he can now use very well in his field of electronic music. To share the different types of techno and to try to create something special behind the decks is one of his biggest attempts. By trying to mix all those different kinds of music he loves, is what he sees as a challenge and, of course, he takes it on. Mostly he plays with his partner in crime Jango S at Rote Sonne Club where they became residents especially for the Stock 5 crew- a label and party organization where every night is one to remember.
About Michal Jablonski:
Born in Warsaw, he has been closely associated with the club culture of the capital of Poland for over a dozen years. The heavy sounds extracted from the black plastic disc inspired him to do more, to go a step further and create his own music. He sought inspiration in crowded cities and the correlation of nature with industrialized society. In music, he looks for something that is not obvious and still to discover. He is focus on his original productions, where you will find a rich mixture of dense industrial atmosphere, off beats sounds and monumental film music elements driven by energetic kick.
He releases his music on VSK’s CRS ltd, Secret Keywords or Newrhythmic recs to name a few and his performance can be found in most clubs in Europe.

I have selected Michal Jablonski because I can best reflect myself with his productions. From deep break beat to impulsive 4/4 beats, his sound touches me the most. His productions merge perfectly. In my opinion, this artist has a very high potential for other artists to enrich their sets with his tracks.
