[NovaFuture Blog Exclusive Mix]: Ratio plays ArchivOne

DJ:
Ratio

About the concept:
Here is the fifty-sixth instalment of our series “abc plays xyz”.

The idea behind it is to ask some DJs/mixing artists if they have an artist or label in mind that they love and would like to use for a mix.

So the approach of each mix is clear: the choosen DJ/mixing artist makes a selection of tracks produced by one artist (and her/his monikers) or released on a label (and its sublabels) and creates a nice mix from it.

Find links to all instalments at our overview. Today we present you Ratio’s mix of tracks produced by ArchivOne.

About Ratio:
The Munich based dj-duo fell in love with the stirring power of techno at the age of 15. After listening to Techno for a few years, the young duo came up with the idea, to play their own style of techno, which was inspired by established dj`s like Thomas P. Heckmann, Nico Moreno, Danilo Incorvaia, Draag, Hadone, ArchivOne, Dax J, Kobosil, Noneoftheabove, Endlec and Ansome, just to name a few examples. Through the dealing with the diversity of electronic music, they developed a predilection in classic, analogue rooted Techno. The young duo is known for their similar interpretation and implementation of playing Techno.

After putting countless hours in playing records, having gigs all around the area of Munich and Augsburg, taking apart in techno focused collectives and organizing parties, they started poducing techno by their own.
