The Nursery’s seventh release sees another newcomer: it’s Violent. A truly promising DJ and producer from Poland, rapidly making a name for himself as a pusher of rough, breakbeat induced techno. Stressful Environment contributes to that persona. It is a fierce composition of peak time tracks, that at times hint towards industrial, while preserving a certain melancholy. It is largely this combination that makes these tracks complement each other so well. The muscular foundation gives them their power; an enlightening fragility keeps them from becoming mere stompers.
