Italian producer MTD rounds up crepuscular Techno grooves in a four tracker featuring fellow countryman and label regular Kaiser supplying the remix.
Standout track ‘9 AM’ is a piece of introspective, bare-boned percussive beatdown that unfolds unobtrusively, revealing an unexpected melodic layer. Kaiser takes on remix duties, cobbling up an equally dusky alternative. With a relentless kick drum and jarring hi-hats, it’s a very functional track that makes for a great dancefloor weapon. Meanwhile, ‘Spontaneous’ offers a minimal groove with a hesitant melody and a lingering lead synth lead. ‘Sospiro’ rounds off the release with a dissonant symphony of bells as a complementing, equally introspective yet more melodic outro.
