Vanta 004 comes from Alex Cortex, an artist who has been producing music for over 20 years now and who has been featured on many Killekill releases already.

For this release he delivers two monumental tracks in his very own aesthetics: although both tracks are straight at first sight, their complex beat structure makes them shift and drift. And also their sound is distinctive: crystal clear and without any of the reverbs that you hear so often in modern techno they still have an incredible depth and sound more psychedelic than most of the other stuff that you hear nowadays. Killer!

Vanta Series is the new series for Killekill’s dancefloor music. The releases come in series, every series comes with a theme and one artwork which is being split in several parts to go with each release. The first series is called “THE END IS NEAR” and features four records. It comes with an artwork by French visual artist Elzo Durt.

The second record is coming from Kamikaze Space Programme, who delivers three types of tracks:
Type 1 – a nervous piece of bells, percussion and bass
Type 2 – a minimalistic techno night drive
Type 3 – a spacious futuristic soundscape
Type 3 comes with a remix by JoeFarr, who added some drama to the original

and therewith created a proper hit for the darker hours.

After a fabulous summer and a mind-blasting Krake Festival, Killekill takes its next step and kicks off another new label called VANTA SERIES, which is destined for small series of 12″es with out-standing dancefloor tracks. The name derives from Vantablack, a colour from nano technology, which is the blackest black and actually invisible. Vanta therewith stands for the total emptiness and is the perfect name for a label which does not have a defined identity itself but is a platform for different series, which will all have a concept and aesthetic in itself.

The first series is called “The End Is Near”. It consists of 4 releases and comes with an artwork by French artist Elzo Durt. Every release will contain a small poster, all four posters put together become Elzo Durt’s piece “Les anges de l’apocalypse”.

First record is by DEZ WILLIAMS, who also released on Shipwrec and Bass Agenda recently. A-Side Acidbanger is a serious banger and has future acid classic written all over it. The B-side comes with two acid variations – one more stingy, one emotional and psychedelic – which show the potential of this outstanding producer.

Open your ears and put the needle on – here is some acid!
