The release opens with ‘Deepening en Transe’, giving you the first slice of thumping goodness from
Chemtrailz’s latest work. Blending furious Techno beats with ravey hardstyle sonics throughout, its onslaught of hammering grooves and urgent musicality make it a solid peak-time cut.

‘Bump My Tape’ comes next, bringing high-octane vampirical Techno vibes from the outset. Subtly sliding in more hardstyle-inspired frequencies alongside gritty, fast-paced driving grooves, its catchy vocal topline ties this underground slammer together perfectly.

The penultimate cut, ‘Eternally Yours, Truly,’ takes things back towards more clean-cut Techno sounds
with an impressive melodic emphasis. Fusing stadium-sized rhythms with endless layers of coarse
electronic musicality from start to finish, its ethereal sounds and hard-hitting cadence pack one
almighty punch.

The release ends with ‘Way Seer’, serving the last slice of racy, ominous, acid-washed Techno potency, again highlighting Chemtrailz’s innate ability to hold the floor with gripping musical arrangements and captivating writing teamed with gargantuan beat constructions.

Texas-based DJ/producer Chemtrailz has been running his Terra Novae imprint since the beginning of 2021, with the label picking up support from heavy hitters such as Amanda Mussi, Paula Temple, Ellen Allien and many more. Following a recent Boiler Room appearance, Chemtrailz delivers two original productions alongside a remix from Gegen Berlin resident and Physical Techno Records, Kalmary Records and Unbekannt/ Label boss, Ayako Mori for the fourth release on the label, ‘Wheat From The Chaff’.

Pounding kick drums and energetic stabs open the release on ‘To Be Right Now’, with chopped vocal samples leading the track into a dramatic breakdown. Following on is Ayako Mori’s remix, with the Japanese DJ/producer injecting her style of fast and sonically dense techno into the track before the title cut ‘Wheat From The Chaff’ closes the release with trippy atmospherics with electric synthesis.

Chemtrailz readies the third release on his Terra Novae imprint with ‘Stargatecrasher EP’, featuring a remix from BRÄLLE.

Texas based DJ/producer Chemtrailz has been running the Terra Novae imprint since the beginning of 2021, with the label picking up support from heavy hitters such as Amanda Mussi, HEX, Vergilov and many more. Now bringing in the third release on the label with ‘Stargatecrasher EP’, Chemtrailz turns in two original techno tracks, recruiting Suara and Devotion alumni BRÄLLE on remix duties.

Opening the release, ‘Stargatecrasher’ brings a barrage of pounding kick drums, tense arps, and heavy atmospherics for a menacing start to the EP. This is followed by BRÄLLE’s fast and hypnotic remix of ‘Play Me In 2086’, which sees the Brooklyn-based DJ/producer twists elements of the original into a shuffling heads down affair. Closing out the release is the original ‘Play Me In 2086’, which utilises broken drum patterns, warped acid lines, and crunching FX to maximum club-ready effect.

Chemtrailz announces the second release on his Terra Novae imprint with three-track techno EP, ‘Churn of the Age’, landing this April.

Following the launch of Terra Novae earlier this year with his ‘All Is Not Lost’ EP, which picked up support from Chris Liebing, Emmanuel ARTS, Lorenzo Raganzini and more, the Texas-based Chemtrailz returns with the next release on the label, ‘Churn of The Age’.

Bringing another dose of his heady, crunching techno across the EP, ‘Solar Alignment’ begins with a strong 4/4 kick alongside foreboding pads and grinding, textured effects custom-built for dark, cavernous spaces. The titular ‘Churn of the Age’ follows with a scattered drum pattern, growling synths and a sizzling breakdown to make for a powerful, syncopated dancefloor number.

‘Take It All In’ combines shuffling percussion, vocal chops and wonky synthesis for a decidedly trippy jam, looking towards the late nights and early mornings. Entering a new era on Terra Novae, Chemtrailz has refined his productions on this EP, further instating the artist’s ability to create varied styles of techno.

Chemtrailz announces new label Terra Novae with his own ‘All Is Not Lost’ EP this January.

Following remixes for the likes of Suara and Ayako Mori alongside releases on labels such as Autektone, Funk n Deep, and Reload, Texas-based Chemtrailz launches his brand new Terra Novae imprint with a self-produced four-tracker of deep and evolving techno.

Title cut ‘All Is Not Lost’ kicks off the release powerfully, with chunky bass slicing its way through the thunderous drums before breaking into growling FM licks. ‘Access Codes’ follows suit, with off-kilter synthesis bubbling and progressing effortlessly throughout the duration of the track, peppered with the occasional subdued breakbeat.

‘Such Times As These’ takes inspiration from early 2000s trance, an era close to Chemtrailz heart, with soaring pads, stabs, and leads taking the reigns to bring a touch of the epic to the EP. Closing piece ‘Winter On Europa’ ties the package together by marrying emotive flourishes and deep atmospherics, catering to eyes-closed moments on the dancefloor and cementing the artist’s knack for crafting powerful yet moving techno across all moods.
