About the release
The concept of this release is to making peace, to underestanding we are all one, and stop hating or killing or pushing down each other, just because of money or our mindset or believing on something like relegions or our country or our gender or our sexuality or our nationality or etc.

My concept on my platform mercyTechno is only to say “we are one”.

I will contiue this message till I am die. promise! stop bombing, stop hating, stop monipulating and stop doing some bad things just because of money.

It is a very very sad thing how I SEE the world. Let’s make it nicer please. Only together we can do that, alone is harder for me, but its ok, I will do with my maximum power and moximum love to the love.

Press Info:
Safe Space building bridges! Here’s the first Split EP on the label bridging Berlin and Sydney with long time label friends Black Mirror Park and Deepchild. Additional to their flourescent deep but driving collab track COAL both turned in amazing solo tracks and to top it off there’s a dystopian Ackermann Redux version of COAL.

Stay safe everybody!

Black Mirror Park about the release
Following my ’tradition’ of mixing tool release with more emotional, synth-heavy material, this split / collaborative release with Sydney’s lifelong techno mainstay Deepchild features two tracks of mine (plus a Bandcamp bonus track) with a moody approach to dance floor focused music plus one by Deepchild (solo) and a remix by Ackermann.

‚Coal‘ — a track I made already some years ago — is my interpretation of an astonishing synth loop Deepchild made & the song pretty much sounds like a musical interpretation of the Mariana Trench to me. ‚2Soon‘, on the other hand — my newest production up to date — further explores the motif of ‘peak time uptempo dub techno mixed with vocals‘ which I have been experimenting with lately.

out now: Dina Summer – Alien (Single) [Iptamenos Discos]

Artist:
Dina Summer

Alien (Single)

Label:

Cat#:
ISI006

Release Date:
22nd July 2024

Format:

Tracklist:
01.
Alien
(Single Version)

Press Info:
Berlin based trio Dina Summer, the new wave/electronic project of duo Local Suicide and Kalipo, returns this summer with their new single ‘Alien’; a tightly spun 80s influenced dance track with otherworldly vibes. The single follows on from their acclaimed 2022 album ‘Rimini’ (Audiolith Records) – a nostalgic journey through retro disco sounds – 2021 EP ‘Who Am I’ and 2024 EP Hide & Seek (Iptamenos Discos), as well as a participation in Curses’ Next Wave Acid Punx Compilation on Eskimo Recordings.

With online streams into the millions and airplay across German radio (including a Hot Rotation on Berlin’s Radio Eins), Dina Summer’s music has been featured on Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists and been spun live by DJs such as Charlotte De Witte, The Hacker, Curses, Joris Voorn, Joyce Muniz & Dubfire. Previous releases have been featured in music press including RA, Groove, Kulturnews, Spiegel Online, Musikexpress, Mixmag, Tsugi and FAZE, who declared the group one of the most promising German electronic acts to watch. Their live sets have been equally successful, selling out concert halls all over Europe and performing at international festivals throughout 2023 & 2024.

New single ‘Alien’ sees Dina Summer delve further into minimal wave territory, stripping back a synth-driven dancefloor arrangement to emphasise its pulsating bassline and otherworldly vocals. The track, which draws inspiration from electronic music pioneers such as Kraftwerk, captures a range of retro-futuristic sounds – indicative of the way in which this artist moves flexibly between past and future. Exploring the idea of “other” through an extraterrestrial narrative, the song is a tribute to outsiders and “freaks” and serves as a metaphor for acceptance, openness and communication.
