Across four tracks the duo experiment at different tempos, unearthing a myriad of themes inspired by forensic analysis and autonomous technological forces. Like alloys mysteriously grown from ore, fragmented artefacts of familiar origin take on new meaning. ‘Xenolith’ is bound together by complex and dystopian atmospheres forging perhaps Tracing Xircles most intriguing record so far.

Leipzig’s DJ, producer & label owner Oliver Rosemann is no stranger to the MindTrip world. Following his debut ‘Intermediate World EP’ back in 2019 and two collaborative releases with head honcho Pfirter, he returns with his second personal work on our label called ‘The Machinist’. Oliver’s new 4-track EP is inspired by the sounds of the machines in a psychologically thrilling setting in an old movie. He used a modular case, mostly Roland 909 drums and the Elektron Digitone and most parts of the tracks were recorded live and rearranged in Ableton Live.

The wait for Oliver’s return on MindTrip has been worth it as these four high octane tools are what’s missing in a dark, sweaty night environment.

DURCH is a queer collective with a clear vision of solidarity and community building. DURCH operates in Tel Aviv and Berlin trying to bring queer people together, building a culture of inclusion, diversity and tolerance. In the tradition of original raves DURCH organizes solidarity events ranging from parties, to art and community events, with the strong belief that raves are a much needed place for people to come together, celebrate their diversity and learn to respect each other. Musically DURCH is eclectic inspired by hardcore, straight forward techno, ghetto and scouse house and 90s acid.

Rave Hospital EP
For this EP „Rave Hospital“, we invited Noémie as part of Berlin feminist and queer music scene. Noémie is an active member of the female:pressure network and part of sisu crew. „Rave Hospital“ have a massive use of the FUTURE RETRO REVOLUTION synth, an 303 emulation from 2004. The vibe of the EP is settled in the range from fast acid techno to hard trance.

The EP tells the story of a patient getting into the Rave Hospital, fighting for being part of society and in the same time celebrating queer counterculture. It’s a fight for diversity. The doctors (Dr. Beat and Dr. Hofmann) are taking care of the patient. The patient is going through different steps, between surgeries and recovery time. The future of the patient is unwritten …

As usual all the profit is donated to queer causes!

Dr. Beat
„Dr. Beat“ is the intro track, setting up the mood of the EP, fast and trancy with retro vibe. Hypnotic baseline recorded on the FRR synth.

Morphine Dream
„Morphine Dream“ is a melodic trance track inspired from the 90s hard trance music. Joyful and energetic.

Dr. Hofmann
„Dr. Hofmann“ is a hymn to acid techno and Dr. Albert Hofmann the inventor of LSD. Intense and fast path track with a strong acid line, recorded on the FRR Synth.

Recovery
„Recovery“ is the closing track of this Rave Hospital EP. Freshening up the mood with a drum and bass style track. the heavy bass line was recorded with the FRR synth.

Recovery (CLTX Remix)
