Press Info:
“The world can’t go under, because we have come so far. There is so much to explore and we have come so far. Don’t let that future we worked so hard for be taken away from us. We have to believe in the fact that people can digest complex concepts, about themselves, about others. We have to believe that the fault isn’t in the people, but the frames they are stuck within. This time in particular we have to believe, because this time, we won’t fail.”

Linn Elisabet is a Swedish born artist, actively involved in Berlin’s techno scene as DJ, producer, and label founder. The drive behind their involvement in music is deeply rooted in their classical music schooling – something that still prevails Linn’s own productions and track selection as an echo of the days spent in orchestras and choirs. At the same time, their fondness for raw and broken beats moulded their idiosyncratic and affectionate interpretation of techno music. For Linn alternative dance music is a world of boundless opportunities, transgressively referring to both music and gender identity. They envision it as a dynamic process liberated from established frameworks, schemes, and societal norms. Within music we can be whoever, and whatever, we want to be – a heart which is ready for anything.

Press Info:
Geistform, also known as Raffael Espinosa, is the producer behind Pi Electronics record number 10.
After almost three decades of music making, he delivers a 5 track-EP fusing influences from techno, electro and ’90s IDM. Four of the tracks can be found in the vinyl edition, while the 5th is a Bandcamp digital exclusive.
Listen now to Geistform’s multifaceted characteristic production style: from breakbeat informed dark percussion and his unique ‘radioactive’ riffs, to his very own Detroit techno drive, dressed in rhythmic noise aesthetics. PI10.5 is a slower burner with emphasis in the chaos brought by its distorted baseline themes – to be found only on the Pi Electronics Bandcamp page.

Press Info:
Of absolute dynamic accord. Harmonized polar motion of temporally phased rhythm. Multi-parallel integration of circuitry on the atomic level. All of these descriptives apply to the latest masterwork from Dadub: ‘Hypersynchron’. 12 tracks displaying the furthest travels through quantum bass space, from collaborators Daniele Antezza and Marco Donnarumma.

The Dadub sound is a boundary-breaking hybrid of electronic dub, with techno influences and a focus on universal sound – a sound impossible from which to exactly geolocate an origin. Founded in Berlin, the current line up consists of Dadub Mastering Studio kingpin Daniele Antezza, and fine art and performance maestro Marco Donnarumma. Combining their efforts and perspectives, the project delivers forceful, thoughtful bass music, of the highest artistic calibre. Italian by descent, scions of Berlin electronic music culture by choice, and pioneering world travellers by necessity, Dadub expands into 2020 with their latest LP on Ohm Resistance. Engaging new technologies, ancient instruments, and a flair for dramatic, challenging and entertaining live performances and collaborations, the music represents the most passionate approach to the bass-driven sound possible.

From the sinister to the breathtaking; in a world where an inverse red sun is damped by burgundy clouds over crimson alloy alleys, ‘Hypersynchron’ is not an easy digestible or disposable work. Its rhythms set a future standard perfectly balanced across the farthest known and unknown spectra of electronic music, with bass technology so alien and precise that it may indeed take centuries to reverse engineer. Grooves from a hidden galaxy on axis-tilt just out of reach from our world, longing to join with our human planet interpretation of time. Presented across 2 slabs of heavy wax, accompanied by a remake from the Dark Lord himself, SCORN. Audio ayahuasca for the dimensionally adventurous.

out now: WBR – Wild Thoughts EP [Märked]

Artist:
WBR

Title:
Wild Thoughts EP

Label:
Märked

Cat#:
MRKD025

Release Date:
03rd November 2020

Format:
digital

Tracklist:
01.
Progressivity

02.
A New Life

03.
Wild Thoughts

04.
A New Life
(Verschwender Remix)

05.
Wild Thoughts
(SDB Remix)

Press Info:
WBR is a fresh blow in the scene. Melodic tough techno, to empower even the darkest of days. Hopeful dance music that makes you think it will all be okay.

Progressivity has something of that, progressing into something better. With a touch of trance, but in a retro jacket. Not like how trance is used in most techno tracks nowadays.

Deceivingly tough kickbass punching you into A New Life. What WBR does really well is the build-up, sneaking into a compact kick and short stab ‘n short delay beat, evolving and building up to a bigger mystical synth-guided composition.

Another bass roller track in Wild Thoughts. It’s the fastest of the five. Happy synths and strings working up to super tight and ruff violin synth-play.

Verschwender’s first timer on the label with a big bomb of organic- and eerie sounding percussion. High in pace in the groove department.

SDB does what he does best; big groove, high drive and high tension. Funnily enough the original Wild Thoughts has elements that reminisce of some older SDB tracks.
