Info:
Conquest One is a pitch-black industrial powerhouse built to seek and destroy. Subjected uses heavy distortion and machined motifs to create a genuine warehouse experience.
Starting off is “Nastes”, a merciless and emotionally detached arrangement. Tailored to penetrate any Birmingham or Berlin style bomb shelter with heavy Panzer style kicks, explosive recoils and scattered metallic shrapnel. “Conquest 1” is a dreary aftermath filled with obscure hypnotic vocals and disfigured rhythms, blanketed in an electric dust cloud of complexities. Gerd Janson and Phillip Lauer’s “Tuff City Kids Style Edit” finishes up this full-fledge package with a less distorted, peak-time analog interpretation of the original.

The first Answer Code Request EP on Ostgut Ton. Patrick Gräser has already caused a great stir with his recent releases for MDR and his own eponymous ACR label.
His debut 12“ for Ostgut Ton begins with “The 4th Verdict“ and immediately shows clear direction. The hammering beats in sawtooth shape oscillate the sound of the track perfectly. The smoothly scripted pad and the eventual phasing-out of the broken beat complete the rest.
“Ghostes“ continues the clear-cut course with unparalleled sound. The combination of drums and dreamy synths creates a mystic mood fitting the title of the track. Phenomenally everything floats in perfect conjunction.
The final track entitled “Breathe“ ironically doesn’t leave room for air. Instead a mighty synth expanse winds itself relentlessly through the song. The characteristics of it’s sound salute a trance aesthetic and only when the beats cut out does the listener get a chance take a breath.

Jubilee for DYSTOPIAN… not only the Number 005 for the label, also 5 years of DYSTOPIAN showcases around the world and a good working agency and label since 2012 – the DYSTOPIAN guys want to say thank you with that special release. And what fits better to invite some long term guests to remix DYSTOPIAN artists !
First, we invited Pär Grindvik who played the second DYSTOPIAN party ever in 2010 to remix the already wonderful ‘Stone Edge’ by Felix K. And what else to say, that one turned out into a tribal techno monster.
Second remixer is Function – he played the every first DYSTOPIAN event back in 2009 (you remember, as Sandwell District LIVE, Ben Klock, Shed and Rødhåd)…
So, this time it s our pleasure – and to get a good balance to the A-Side, he delivered a groovy hypnotizing minimalistic tool.. you need to let i grow, but than this track getting you from behind 🙂
