New Order have unveiled the first remix and full details of their ‘Restless’ single package, released on Mute on 9 October 2015.
The Agoria remix and the Extended 12” mix feature alongside further remixes from xxxy, RAC and long-term collaborator Andrew Weatherall.
The 12” green vinyl features both the Agoria and Weatherall remixes, along with the Extended 12” Mix and a download code for access to the full remix bundle.
‘Restless’ is available digitally now, the full remix package is available from 9 October 2015. Pre-order the digital bundle and receive the Agoria Remix as an instant download.

Martin Gore announces a remix EP, available on double 12” vinyl and digital October 2nd via Mute. The EP will include remixes by Andy Stott, Virgil Enzinger, and Christoffer Berg, alongside two previously unreleased tracks.
In association with BitTorrent, Martin is also launching a remix competition for the track “Featherlight.” The winning remix will be included on the digital release of Martin’s EP.

Nach Veröffentlichung seines elektronischen Instrumental Albums MG kündigt Martin Gore heute die MG Remixes EP an. Auf der EP, die nur digital und auf Vinyl erscheinen wird, sind Remixes durch Andy Stott, Virgil Enzinger und Christoffer Berg sowie zwei bisher unveröffentlichte Tracks enthalten.

Listen to the intense, pulsing remix of the new electronic Martin Gore track ‘Pinking’, taken from his critically acclaimed solo project MG and remixed by Swedish producer, DJ and musician, Christoffer Berg.
‘Pinking’ is one of the many highlights on Gore’s evocative 16-track electronic instrumental album, MG, which is out now on Mute. The album is creates an absorbing and emotional sonic landscape, and was described by VICE as “a textural, complicated album”. Explaining the appeal of a purely instrumental record, Martin says, “I am aware of the power of pure music and the emotions that can be created by musical atmospheres and that is what I wanted to capture with this project.”
Christoffer Berg is well known for his programming work, perhaps most notably on Depeche Mode’s 2013 album ‘Delta Machine’, where he worked closely with Martin, exploring his vast selection of vintage synthesizers and gear. Christoffer also remixed the VCMG track ‘Aftermaths’.

New Order have announced the release of their new album, Music Complete, out on 25 September 2015.
The long awaited album will be New Order’s first full studio release since 2005’s Waiting For The Siren’s Call, and their debut for Mute. Music Complete finds the group revitalised, refreshed and razor sharp, looking to their past while forging forward. Where the group has previously pushed toward synthesisers or guitars, here the two are in balance. Music Complete also marks a return to the studio for Gillian Gilbert, this is her first album with New Order since 2001’s Get Ready.
The album will be released on CD, download and limited edition clear vinyl. In addition, there will be an exclusive 8-piece deluxe vinyl collection that includes the album plus extended versions of all 11 tracks on coloured vinyl
New Order are: Bernard Sumner, Gillian Gilbert, Stephen Morris, Tom Chapman and Phil Cunningham.
Music Complete is produced by New Order, except ‘Singularity’ and ‘Unlearn This Hatred’, produced by Tom Rowlands, who also worked on ‘Tutti Frutti’. ‘Superheated’ features additional production by Stuart Price. Long-term collaborator Peter Saville provides art direction.

See below to hear three different sides of what you can expect from the new album.
Brandon Flowers named The Killers after the band in New Order’s video for ‘Crystal’, and has become a good friend of the band. Here on Music Complete he lends his unmistakable vocals on ‘Superheated’, giving the album a fittingly epic closer.
Following an enthralling guest appearance performing ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ at the Tibet House benefit in New York last year, Iggy Pop now applies his unique tones to ‘Stray Dog’, creating a brooding track that blends perfectly with the eclectic array of sounds on Music Complete.
Featuring on ‘Tutti Frutti’ and ‘People On The High Line’ and providing backing vocals on ‘Plastic’, Elly Jackson first supported New Order on their 2014 tour with her band La Roux, starting a mutual appreciation of each other’s work.

Nach einem packenden Livemoment mit New Order im New Yorker Tibet House im letzten Jahr, bei dem Iggy Pop “Love Will Tear Us Apart” sang, sprechtsingt der “Godfather des Punk” nun die Stimme bei “Stray Dog”, einem brodelnden 80-Wave-Pop-Spoken Word-Anthem.
Mit Feature-Performances bei “Tutti Frutti” und “People On The High Line” und Background-Gesang bei “Plastic” empfiehlt sich Elly Jackson. Ihre Band La Roux und New Order waren im letzten Jahr miteinander auf Tour – der Beginn einer gegenseitigen Bewunderung.
