Frankreich kann nicht nur French House kann, sondern hält neben Daft Punk eine durchaus aktive Technoszene bereit. Die entwickelt sich zunehmend zum Exportschlager. JKS beweist das als einer von vielen talentierten DJs und Produzenten mit seinen Acid-lastigen Sets ein ums andere Mal. Der junge Franzose machte vergangenes Jahr mit zwei EPs auf Molekül auf sich aufmerksam und lässt in seinen Sets neben seiner Vorliebe für Acid-Techno hin und wieder seine Trance-Sozialisation durchblitzen. Eine impulsive Kombination.

Der Sound von Objection aus Mannheim kann ähnlich giftig werden, ist in seiner Gesamtheit jedoch einen Tick sphärischer ausgerichtet. Auf ihrem Label werden sie ihren DJ-Sets aus Produzentensicht gerecht und vereinen Support von Chris Liebing, Jonas Kopp oder Inigo Kennedy hinter sich. Zum gebührenden Abschluss aus 2017 lud man sich Repressed Mind für die hauseigene Podcast-Reihe ein. Musikalisch werden die durchaus divergierenden Ansätze dabei deutlich. Diese tangieren sich vereinzelt, nur um danach wieder auseinanderzufließen. Ein Charakteristikum, aus dem der Abend seine Spannung zieht.
