Press Info:
Bluegold opens its next sonic chapter by tracing the boundaries where deep techno meets profound introspection. For this upcoming release, the label carves out a collaborative sanctuary, welcoming German producer Kontinum into a split EP alongside label boss MRUDA. Together, they establish a dialogue defined by shared restraint, mapping out an immersive landscape that marks an evolutionary step for the imprint’s growing catalog.
With this joint effort, MRUDA and Kontinum redirect deep techno toward a state of raw meditation. The release marks a striking exercise in patience—an intentional space specifically designed for holding complex emotions and stepping into zen.
This abstract sensation becomes tangible through a microscopic focus on detail: tiny clicks, contorted textures, and breathing soundscapes. MRUDA targets ultra-minimalism, engineering ever-evolving microgrooves inside the larger rhythms to construct a self-contained world—a distinct identity forged through his personal lens on tribal music. In perfect counterweight, Kontinum strips his high octane intelligent sound design down to its minimal roots. Echoing the atmospheric, psychoacoustic depths yet propelled by a faster, more urgent club-oriented physical energy. He connects modern complexity directly back to the primal foundation of deep techno. Together, they stretch the temporal axis, letting entropy and groove do the talking.
Ultimately, this split EP steers clear of loud, comprehensive language. It signifies two artists comfortably pushing their craft to the limits of their own experimental approach, proving that the mind can find stillness even as the future accelerates. It is electronic music stripped down to its sole necessity: a hypnotic, slow-burning dialogue between mud and electricity.
