Die erste Ausgabe von ESCH findet am 25.03.2016 in der Griessmühle statt. Der Fokus unserer Reihe liegt auf anspruchsvoller Techno-Musik. Wir sind froh, dass wir für die erste Ausgabe IORI, der mittlerweile wieder in Tokyo wohnt, gewinnen konnten. Er hat seinen hypnotischen, minimalistischen Techno mit rollenden Basslines u.a. schon auf Prologue, Semantica und The Gods Planet veröffentlicht. Pünktlich zum Start seines neuen Albums, was im April auf Field Records erscheinen wird, geht er auf Europa-Tour. Sein einziger Halt in Deutschland – und damit auch in Berlin – wird bei uns sein.
Zusätzlich wird es ein voll analoges Liveset von dem Skandinavier OFFWORLDCOLONIES geben, der sich auch für das Under Molnet-Label verantwortlich zeichnet. Sein Sound passt perfekt zu unserem Verständnis von modernem Techno und deswegen sind wir froh, dass er bei uns sein Berlin-Debüt gibt!
Vom mittlerweile schon berühmt-berüchtigten Leipziger Institut für Zukunft haben wir FR. JPLA dabei, die mit ihren DJ-Sets schon quer durch die Republik unterwegs war.
Ein weiteres Berlin-Debüt gibt es von Josef Gaard aus Seattle der jenseits des Atlantiks schon mit einigen Releases für Furore sorgen konnte.
Komplettiert wird das Ganze von unseren Residents MAKK, EXØR und TAREK SOLTANI & THNTS.

The first issue of ESCH will take place on March 25th 2016 in Griessmühle. The focus of this project is on sophisticated techno-music. We are happy to have IORI in our lineup for our first event. He has already published his minimalist, hypnotic techno with rolling bass lines on Prologue, Semantica and The Gods Planet. For the release of his new album on Field Records which will be released in April he is coming over from Tokyo for a EU-Tour. His only stop in Berlin and Germany will be at our event.
Additionally there will be a fully analog live set by OFFWORLDCOLONIES. The Skandinavien is one of the heads behind the Under Molnet-Label and fits perfectly to our understanding of modern Techno. We are happy to host him for his Berlin Debut!
From the infamous Institut für Zukunft in Leipzig FR. JPLA will provide us with one of her minimalistic, vinyl-only sets.
Another Berlin-debut will be the one of JOSEF GAARD, who already caused a furor with his releases beyond the atlantic ocean and is now looking to establish himself here in Berlin.
The lineup will be completed by our residents MAKK, EXØR and TAREK SOLTANI & THNTS
