After Die Selektion released with “Ascheregen” and “Zeuge aus Licht” not only two songs between synth-wave, NDW and goth and announced the release of their third album “Zeuge aus Licht” for September 29, 2023, a new single of the band around Luca Gillian, Hannes Rief, Samuel Savenberg and Max Rieger is released today with “Der Katalog”.

“‘Der Katalog’ is the third single release from our album ‘Zeuge aus Licht’, which will be released in September. The song is made for the dance floor and inspired by genres like electronic body music and industrial of the 80s and early techno of the 90s. Various stylistic devices and elements from that time are used – even the voice is used as an instrument here and the song, unlike other tracks on the album, breaks away from common song structures. We regularly perform in techno clubs around the world – where this song is always particularly frenetically received by the audience.”
