About the concept:
Here is the one hundred and ninth instalment of our series “abc plays xyz”.
The idea behind it is to ask some DJs/mixing artists if they have an artist or label in mind that they love and would like to use for a mix.
So the approach of each mix is clear: the choosen DJ/mixing artist makes a selection of tracks produced by one artist (and her/his monikers. or released on a label (and its sublabels. and creates a nice mix from it.

dotwav About Their Choice:
Our label celebrates it’s 5-year anniversary, so I thought it’s the right time to do a DJ mix with KONFLKT releases only. My initial plan was to deliver a 1-hour set, but I had so much fun recording it that I just kept going. Playing all these tracks from our label made me happy and proud at the same time. This DJ mix perfectly shows what KONFLKT stands for: versatile sounds ranging from darker to melodic and uplifting techno. We never wanted to limit ourselves to a niche. However, all these tracks have one thing in common: they were especially released for the dancefloor.
I would like to thank all people who worked and partied with us in the past five years: musicians, promoters, mastering engineers, graphic designers, bloggers, friends, family members, neighbors and most importantly Paul, the other half of dotwav and our former member Jannik. Big thanks to Jürgen and NovaFuture Blog, I couldn’t have thought of a better platform to do this. Expect more music full of conflicts in the future 🙂
