Date & Time:
16th September 2020 at 07:00pm
Prince Charles, Berlin (Germany)
Arch is a new series of live electronic concerts in the comfortable and responsible environment of PRINCE CHARLES. We present three specially created live sets from mainstays in the European electronic scene, each transmitting their personal take on post-club ambience, experimental, minimalist and avant-garde music.
Magna Pia, aka Hüseyin Evirgen, half of renowned duo Cassegrain, is a classically trained composer and producer whose stand-out, psychedelic productions range from abstract, shamanistic ambience to metallic modern techno. His performance will be based on a compact yet powerful hardware setup that Hüseyin has mastered over the last 10+ years of performing live worldwide.
Rotterdam native Mattheis is also well known for his mesmerising live performances, based around a customised Modular system. His organic and bravely utopian synthesiser music found a home base on the excellent Nous’klaer label where he’s released 3 LPs to date. Expect cerebral harmonics and bubbling layers of joyous synthesis.
Merrin Karras aka Irishman Brendan Gregoriy’s warm and melodic ‘Berlin-school’ synth works have graced two LPs on cult ambient / experimental label ‘A Strangely Isolated Place’. More widely known for his distinctive house and techno releases as Chymera, his deeply introspective, transcendent work as Merrin Karras is not to be missed.
Our guest DJ warming up and seeing out the night will be African Acid Is The Future resident and co-creator Maryisonacid, digging deep into her record collection to soundtrack a night that reaches far beyond the club spectrum.
This event is limited to 100 tickets, available exclusively via Inverted Audio. First live show starts at 20:00. inverted-audio.com/tickets-arch-02-prince-charles.
