Sweden’s LILIES returns late October with its fourth release, a four-track package split between label-founder DJ Lily and Sandra Mosh, with both artists remixing each other’s original contribution.

Rising Gothenburg based artist DJ Lily launched the LILIES imprint in 2018 as a sublabel to his BROR label focusing on gritty, raw Techno with material from himself, Jor-El aka Joel Alter and Svagila so far. Here we see him returning to the label, hot off the back of his recent appearance at Sweden’s Way Out West festival, and welcoming fellow Swedish producer, DJ, Mosh Musik label-head and Swedish national radio host Sandra Mosh onto the roster, following on from releases with Mary Go Wild, Northallsen Records and Brothers Black over the past few years and club appearances at the likes of Berghain and Tresor, a testament to her reputation as a Swedish Techno stalwart.

LILES4 sees DJ Lily and Sandra Mosh aim squarely at the dance floor with heady, uptempo workouts making up this collaborative, split EP. DJ Lily’s original cut ‘031’ leads, employing vacillating synth swells, thunderous drums and a steady underlying tension throughout. DJ Lily’s ‘Remode’ of Sandra Mosh’s ‘040’ follows next, embracing an off-kilter aesthetic via broken percussion, fluttering acid bass tones and howling atmospherics.
