You never really know how it can sound when the feelings and the reality of the everyday life starts shaping the pulse and the characters of a track, before even dropping a kickdrum or a bass in the mix. The composition of the elements making Atomos Ep, by spanish artist Korben Nice, is filled and configured to bring the listener between the velocity of techno and the several rhythmical steps of the playing parts. Korben Nice indeed reveals the effect of life and its constant instability and changes and how it affects the process of creation.

The first track, Atom, kicks off the journey with hypnotic sounds that sets the ground for a deep and dark voice, fading and letting the space again for more percussive sounds. It introduces the unit that will then serve as the building matter. The second track, Isotope, gives no relief to the listener, ringing anguishing bells and contrasting with the tribal sounds and uplifting pads. The sound contradiction is at the center of the track and will perfectly serve the dancefloor. Light then comes in with Atomos third track, Circonio, and announces the pounding techno machinery. Still, ray of nostalgia and melancholia can be felt piercing the systemic wheelwork, leaving the listener changed without even noticing.

The three original compositions are packed with a brilliant remix of the track Atom by techno artist Eric Fetcher which emphasizes in a really personal way the global ambiance of Atomos.
