Ekserd drops four charged techno cuts entitled ‘Disco Workout’ on his Ressort Imprint label this April.

German producer Tim Felix Dreske aka Ekserd has been helming his Berlin-based Ressort Imprint for a number of years, cementing it as a platform for quality techno with releases from artists such as I/Y, Denise Rabe, Głós, Stranger and Gonzalo MD. It’s been three years since Ekserd released ‘The Hidden Documents’ on Ressort Imprint. He now returns with ‘Disco Workout’, a release that mirrors the jackin’ grooves and high-tempo tools he likes to juggle around within the clubs.

With a looped spoken word sample and fuzzy synths, ‘Empowering Your Life’ opens the high-octane release, making way into the industrial sounding ‘Five’ with its menacing kicks and tantalizing melodies. Intricate rolling percussion combines with hypnotizing vocals and echoing effects in ‘Disco Workout’ until ‘Lucid’ concludes the package with crunchy drums and its resonating stabs.
