Ramon is addicted to the groove. He started his DJ career in the Netherlands together with the Influenza music crew in 2009. Beside DJing and experimenting with other genres under his alias “Space Kit”, he also released his first tracks back then on Influenza. After gaining his degree in “Popculture & Music” he moved back to Berlin searching for new projects. Ever since then he is not just part of the Mandatory crew, but also one of the founders and creative heads in the team. That is why he is the perfect choice for us to lay down our very first EP named “Coming Home”!
“Coming Home” is clearly a merciless dancefloor weapon. Raw synth stabs, groovy baseline arranged with a long, tensioning breakdown, framed with spaced out sounds. It creates the certain vibe a proper A-side should have.
“Radiance” as second shines with its contrast between loose percussive patterns and a summerish chord progression. Arranged as a tool it is also very club oriented, but doesn’t lack in the unique sound Ramon stands for.
