Risonanza Festival returns with the third edition, this time in Arena club in Berlin.
A project focus to discover in every editions the manifold faces of the today’s techno scene and not only.
In this edition the object will be the union between TECHNO and the EBM, that seems has taken back new life nowadays.
We thought that the best band to be invited were the FRONT 242 in Dj set version (Duo).
In the 80’s artists like the FRONT 242 have been influenced by bands like the D.A.F, Cabarets Voltaire and Throbbing Gristle , they combined the Neue Deutsche Welle with elements of the industrial German music, that’s basically how everythings was born. In the first years of 1990 many artists started to mix the EBM distorted elements of the industrial with metal and rock. If the album “Front by Front” of the Front 242 started the EBM in the eighties, the following decade saw the conversion of many artists to a different sound generating loads of sub-genre s like industrial techno, Death industrial etc.
Alongside Front 242 there will be the djset of Sid & Eddy from (Schwefelgelb) Techno Body Music duo from Berlin with their last release on [aufnahme + wiedergabe].
