There is a circle spinning at the center of the plain.
It spins so fast, that it almost seems motionless, a static microcosm of the universe, the mind, the music.
But there is always the struggle before the rest. The Divine Comedy takes the traveller from the pits of fire to the bemusing middle onto the eternal peace. In the same way, the circle spins across four gates, pushing through each with all its power as it surpasses suffering, death, humility, and the rebirth… the stages of existence and creation.
Round and round.
Round and round.
Let it spin and let the music take us. Let is bring us dancing to our heights atop a mountain and drag us in the dirt. Let it lose us in its illusion. Let it spin until it is motionless…
