Shed’s debut album for 50 Weapons is his 3rd in total.

His first “The Traveller” was a collection of tracks recorded over a long period of time. The follow up “Shedding The Past” was the first concept album, produced in one go. In hindsight according to his own words maybe a bit overambitious, Shed was combining all his influences into a melange of genres from Dubstep to Techno, Bass, Ambient and IDM.

“The Killer” was produced in March 2012. Aimed to be more homogeneous, the album is first and foremost a true techno love story.

The album title has nothing in common with serial killers, war or military. It is simply a bold statement. The album is “the killer”!

Auf seinem dritten Album “The Killer” vereint Shed all seine verschiedenen Stile wie Dubstep, Techno, Bass, Ambient und IDM auf einem Techno Longplayer. Keine Spielereien, einzig Signalsounds, starke Beat-Patterns und Bass, Bass, Bass mit voller Wucht.

VielfÃ¤ltigkeit von “Silent Witness”, ein massiver Groover, über “I Come By Night”, ein echter 4 To The Floor Slammer, bis hin zu wunderbaren melodischen Tracks wie “Gas Up” oder der Albumversion der vorangegangenen 12″ Single “The Praetorian”.

Wie auch die vorangegangen Alben ist dieses hier aus einem Stück. Jeder einzelne Track ordnet sich dem Ganzen unter und es sind dennoch Hits, jeder einzelne. Eben Killer!

Das Album wurde im März 2012 produziert – eine erstaunlich kurze Zeit für eine ganze Albumproduktion. Es wurde dadurch noch homogener und ist eine wahre Liebeserklärung an den Techno.
