During the summer, Skudge has been gathering perspective and inspiration. Everyday life has been the priority, but as things goes from one context to the next, Skudge have been preparing this autumn.

The sixth remix EP on Skudge Records features their two friends Marcel Dettmann and Answer Code Request. Being long in the making, Skudge are very proud to be able to finally release their takes on their own tracks.

Clocking the entire A-side, we find Marcel Dettmann who goes deep into a state where he breaks up ‘Man On Wire’ and put the pieces back into his own mesmerizing puzzle. Swirling Marcel sounds mixes and bends into each other grounded on a pulsating groove: keeping a lot of funk intact and things interesting for the entire track.

Talking about funk, Answer Code Request really did a expert precision job on the B-side. Being producing for a while, Answer Code Request instantly grabbed Skudge’s attention with his debut EP and felt as the most natural choice to ask for a remix.

Skudge are really proud to be able to present this EP and hope that it finds it’s way into the perfect sets.
