We are back once again with our digital series, BDd020. Proud to share some snippets of our upcoming release with you all! Featuring some absolute unreal bombs from Raftek who heads the EP, we’ve had the pleasure of being able to bring on JoeFarr and Vegim providing stomping remixes curated with the whole of their experience and longevity in the scene – a privilege to have them express themselves. Chlär comes in with a naughty naughty remix, a signature staple from one of our own beloved team, continuing to push the boundaries of his talent and sound. The Chronics provides something off the beaten rail, a proper dub edit for the senses, illustrating his ever increasing work capacity with no relent in its punch! It’s been a pleasure to work on this release for us and it encapsulates the thrill and energy that the artists have provided us with, we look forward to bringing you the full release, but for now you’re going to have to enjoy a little teasing with these groovy snippets! Third transmission of the SK11X series off-shoot helmed by Setaoc Mass comes via rising Belgian protege Border One. A staple figure of the respected Voltage Festival in his own country, Border One’s raw, insistent sound has seen him release on Key Vinyl, Form & Function, and his own self-titled imprint whilst also featuring on DVS1’s revered fabric mix. On the Restless EP however he hits his stride, steadily building intensity through restrained repetition and droning, hypnotic sound design on the opening pairing of “Crude”. On the B-side, “Derail” clashes harsher hi-hats to a looping, angst-riddled groove, whilst “Restless” releases the tension with its bouncier pummel and high-pressure torque.

Lobster Theremin follow up a string of techno EPs with a riveting solo outing from Julian Muller . Having sculpted Lobster’s contribution to the new wave of techno-trance as part of the now defunct duo 90 Process – which he founded with Hadone – Muller has already flexed his alchemic approach to stirring up the dancefloor with EPs for techno titans ARTS , Mama Snake’s carefully curated Amniote Editions imprint, the ever-ravel Pushmaster Discs , and Berlin techno label Initial.

Title track Prosperity On Mars kicks off the four track release with a heavy club ready slice of Techno. Next up, ‘Sidonia’ is peak time rave done right. Acid lines, ominous overlays and stern kicks married with booming bass – one for the warehouse. Hands in the air on the flip, courtesy of emotional trance number, Aurora’s Night. Old skool euro-club sounds and a tongue-in-cheek approach-only for this banger. Finally, ‘Reality’ is in a similar lane, nostalgic sounds from the days gone and fun-loving machine sounds meet chunkier, darker elements for a final foray into the dance.
