Nach dem durchschlagenden Erfolg der deutschsprachigen, limitierten FROZEN PLASMA Single “TANZ DIE REVOLUTION” und der Nachfolgesingle EARTHLING sowie dem zweiten Studioalbum “MONUMENTUM” legen FROZEN PLASMA direkt nach. Label und Band erhielten unzählige Anfragen aus dem Südamerikanischen Raum nach einer spanischen Version von TdR. Ursprünglich nur für PROMO-Zwecke angefertigt geriet der Song über einige DJs zurück nach Deutschland/Europa und sofort war die Nachfrage gross. So haben wir beschlossen eine zweite, ebenfalls auf 1000 Stck. limitierte Single nachzulegen. Die Single enthält neben der spanischen Version (mit STATE OF THE UNION) auch eine italienische Version (mit SYRIAN) sowie eine englische, sozusagen internationale Version. Dazu noch vier klasse Bonustracks und somit 7 Songs bei 35.00 Min. Spielzeit! Und wie immer limitiert auf 1000 Exemplare, wenn weg, dann weg!
After the tremendous success of their latest releases TANZ DIE REVOLUTION, EARTHLING and the second studio album MONUMENTUM, FROZEN PLASMA return with another club attack. Initially made for promo use in south america a spanish version of TdR was recorded. Due to some DJs the version got back to germany and europe and created a hughe demand. Band and label decided to release this great version feat. the vocal talent of Johann Sebastian of STATE OF THE UNION on a limited MCD. Furthermore an italian version introducing Andylab of SYRIAN was created and an english version with Felix Marc himself on vocals. Nachdem das ostdeutsche Trio im Frühjahr 2007 ihr zweites Album “Rouge Et Noir” veröffentlicht hat, welches sich erfolgreich in den Top 10 der DAC behaupten konnte, begaben sich head-less auf eine ausgedehnte Tour mit über 40 Gigs. Neben Club- und Festivalshows ( u.a. als Support von Melotron, Colony 5 und VNV Nation ) in Deutschland spielten sie auch in Polen, Tschechien, Ungarn, Finnland, Estland, Russland und absolvierten 2008 eine fünfwöchige USA Tour mit einem umjubelten Abschlussgig in Mexico City.
Um das Konzept “Rouge Et Noir” abzuschließen veröffentlichen head-less ihre neue CD “Seelenjagd E.P.” mit Remixen und Livetracks. Die Remixe sind bereits zum Teil in den letzten drei Jahren auf diversen Samplern und Onlinecompilations veröffentlicht worden und sind auf dieser E.P. nun gesammelt enthalten.
Der Fokus liegt dabei auf den Clubhits “Seelensturm” und “Triebjagd” welche in neuen treibenden Versionen vorliegen. Insbesondere der Clubmix von “Seelensturm” kommt in einer völlig veränderten und noch clubtauglicheren Version als das Original daher. Hier zeigen head-less ihr Gespür für eingängige Sounds und treibenden Beats in Verbindung mit metaphorischen Texten, abseits gängiger Klischees.
Auch die verschieden Versionen von “Seelenjagd” und der Remix von “Catch A Bitch” haben das Potential sich in den Playlists der DJ’s zu etablieren. Als Dokument ihrer energievollen und mitreißenden Bühnenperformance zeugen die Liveversionen von “Catch A Bitch” und ihres Clubhits “Ship Of Agony” welche in Berlin und Mexico City mitgeschnitten wurden.
“Ship Of Agony” kommt im “Görlitz Mix” nochmals in einem sehr industriallastigen Sound zum Einsatz und zeigt die Experimentierfreudigkeit von head-less innerhalb
der elektronischen Musik. Das nicht minder clubtaugliche “Ehrenfeld” und “Adore” runden die E.P. ab welche die Wartezeit auf neues Material überbrückt und für Spannung darauf sorgt, was die drei sympathischen Herren für die Zukunft geplant haben…

“I’ve been playing Ortin’s track at big gigs for quite a while at peak times, with The Advent & Industrialyzer interpreting it its great to release these two fine pieces of work that have purpose and conviction” says Luke Slater about the next release on his Mote Evolver label. The boundary-pushing mind-set Slater brings to his own Planetary Assault Systems creations is a key characteristic of the music he selects for Mote Evolver. This release from Ortin Cam a prime example.
Being an influential player within Belgium’s evergreen techno scene, Ortin Cam’s music can best be described as rousing and straight-to-the-point. A regular contributor for leading labels such as Drumcode and Invasion, this single on Mote-Evolver represents another accolade in Cam’s upwardly mobile career.
The clue to what to expect from this record is in the title. Carnage is a highly purposeful, no-holes-barred, full force techno record. Constructed around firing snares and alternating loops of jittery and then drawn out horn snippets the overall effect is a high-octane track with a fierce rhythm and lots of tense energy.
The Advent & Industrialyzer (Kombination Research) present their combined force on the remix. The duo brings a groovier, more electronic vibe to the track; keeping the pulsing tension of the original and underpinning everything with a mechanical, hammer-like groove and multiple layers of undulating distorted acid.
