Press Info:
Christian Gerlach’s Lanthan.audio features Jeff Derringer in its seventh installment, as well as two remixes from seasoned veterans Shifted and Giorgio Gigli. The concept behind the label is the combination of music with architecture and photography, the consolidation of which creates a highly robust and powerful statement about music and art. This vision was born out of the desire to deliver a diverse product featuring innovative remixes from techno’s most respected producers.

Jeff Derringer’s ‘Human Moments in WWIII’ is irresistibly fervent. Both ‘Departure’ and the EP’s title track are driving, acid-imbued, and deeply nostalgic of 90s electronic sensibilities. While Shifted’s remix provides more hypnotic twists to an otherwise straightforward track, Giorgio Gigli lends the EP momentum and vigor, bringing the release to a robust and energetic close.

Human Moments in WWIII adds dimension to an already dynamic and techno-forward discography, and Derringer, Shifted, and Gigli are three amongst many compelling artists that the label has released since its inception last year.

Press Info:
Bistro Boy (Frosti Jonsson) found his spiritual home in electronic music after dropping out of classical piano lessons, which liberated him from sticking only to black dots on paper. He´s performed at some of Icelands best known events including Airwaves and Secret Solstice as well as abroad. BistroBoy´s music has been described as chill-out 80´s rooted with an electronic twist.

Svartir sandar (Black sands) is Bistro Boy´s second LP and his fifth Möller Records release. The album contains 10 tracks. Guest appearnce by Marty Byrne (Here We All Are) and Edward F. Butler (Memories). The album can be described as downtempo & chillout electronica with a little vocal twist.

Back story about the album name: “Svartir sandar” refers to Bistro Boy´s surroundings where he grew up in south-east Iceland. It was one of Iceland´s most isolated areas, sealed off by black sands and glacier rivers. Endless black deserts, barren empty space where living conditions are hostile with green oases in between. The album is an ode celebrating childhood memories, a little thank you note.
