Polish powerhouse Sept returns to Voxnox with his ‘Direction’ EP.

Direction
He kicks off the EP with ‘Direction’, an eerie, hypnotic tool. He combines a driving groove with delicate synth work and cavernous soundscapes to create a mesmerising mood.

Direction (Michal Jablonski Remix)
Friend and frequent collaborator Michal Jablonski is up first on remix duties. Drawing upon the mood of the original he offers a tasteful and considered remix that further deepens the original’s hypnosis.

Script
He follows up the title track with ‘Script’, a deep excursion. Continuing in a similar vein and showcasing his signature style he delivers a stomping big-room trip that is perfect for any time of the night.

Script (I/Y Remix)
Taking the reigns for the final track of the EP are Berlin techno aficionados, I/Y. With a complex, icy groove the pair showcase their unique talents in creating another signature dance floor weapon.

The next EP from Berlin-based voxnox Records comes from London-born and Berlin-based duo Brothers Black with a remix from romantic house aficionado Curses.

Brothers Black is the new moniker from Bade Records co-founders James Sison and Edward Antonio. Fresh from their releases on their own imprint and NYC/Berlin label Safer At Night, the duo offer up a selection of summer techno cuts. Perfect for the early hours or energetic afternoons of festivals. ‘C.O.A.’ is an epic peak time track that will be at home both on both festival and club circuits. The second and title track ‘Trials’ is a powerful, dark and groove orientated track with distorted dub influences. 09:05 is a slower, more house influenced number with rich, dreamy synth work that’s perfect for both sunrise and sunset sets. The final original ‘Coding’ rounds off the EP with its hypnotic groove and swelling dub pads.

The remix comes from New York native and Berlin based Luca Venezia, a.k.a. Curses. With releases on Turbo Recordings, Off Recordings, Nein Records, Throne of Blood and his own imprint Safer At Night, Venezia offers up a trippy, stomping peak-time interpretation of ‘Trials’ that’s sure to set any dance floor alight.
