Press Info:
Unhuman brings you balance between body and mind, with both intriguing introspective atmospheres and energetic activating sounds. This is the newest Strange Therapy session, a spiritual and physical treatment.

Shadow Of The Serpent creeps up your spine with a gnarly crawler of a synthline. A good old break-beat boulders underneath the soul-sucking background sounds. Its sharp teeth create craters deep enough to let you bathe in their shade.

Fire Rash Peeling suckerpunches your body straight into EBM’s dirtiest territories. Dangerous dancefloor material complete with industrial strength claps, perforating percussion and pads forged in feedback. Feel it from your face to your feet.

White Bone Spirit is a halftime wave weapon. An anxious arp drives a battering bassline forward with high velocity, boosting its impact as the sustain increases. No light is left by its dripping drums and ghoulish growls. Deep, dark, doom.

The Fallbeil Remix morphs this piece completely. An evil alien energy disrupts your peace of mind with an 808 loaded up with extra hate. Crushed up corrosives, vague voices and an everlasting eerie ambience. A dirty gem of an electro jam.

Autumns ups the tempo with this remix. Lunatic loops and metallic mayhem make you move your body parts until you lose ’em. It’s driving, it’s terrifying, it’s wonderfully classic horror like dancing with the dead.

Wice

Hybris EP

Label:
Steinlach

Cat#:

26th May 2018

Format:
vinyl

Tracks:
A1.
Absent (No Aggression)

A2.
HB11

B1.
Hybris

B2.
Hertz

Press Info (English):
Hybris is a state of dissoluteness, of loss of control, of greed and of lustfulness. Following that motto, Wice takes his listeners on a journey through a hybristic process on his second Steinlach EP, which chooses an enchanting and euphemistic entrance into hybris with Absent (No Aggression). Gentle pads create a peaceful and dreamy world that is turned into a fascinating landscape of sound by trippy drums and dopey synths and so pushes wide open the gate to hybris. The threateningly booming HB11 then finally enters the state of hybris: synths and drums pump adrenalin in heads and bodies, dancing turns into greed, the complete lack of control sets in. That lack of control riots towards its peak with the eponymic Hybris, which tears the listener in technoid and gritty manner into the abyiss of hybris and holds him captive down there. Hybris is followed by Nemesis, the devine punishment ending in death: Wice interprets this transition towards Nemesis with Hertz, a playful and breaky good-night kiss, which feels pretty damn good and resonates bittersweetly.

Emperia

Press Info:
Born in Netherlands and raised in Switzerland, two brothers, Derek and Michael Harnischberg created techno capsule called EnØs. Name itself, creation of their own, combination of Latin and Nordic dialect carries symbolic that is deeply attached to them. As an open book that often seems lackluster, we did not want to leaf through all of its pages. Their opus, that has been influenced by various artists throughout the time, such as Sigur Ros, Pink Floyd and many others, is still evolving and it’s pretty dynamic. Creativity can never be rushed, but they surely don’t lack any.

We are really glad to introduce you to the Enøs duo. Their three-track EP ‘Haze’ is a techno journey characterized by groovy stabs and atmospherics. The first track, and the main track of the release, is ‘Haze’, a well-arranged techno tune featuring a a kick on top and awesome classy tech elements that are surrounded by intricate melodies. The second track of the EP is ‘Prism’, a technotic cut with an experimental rhythm, simply a gem and a dancefloor killer. Lastly, Emperia completes the release, a deep and atmospheric cut characterized by some classic stabs. A perfect tune for the peak times and heat up the dancefloors!

Pain Tolerance Treshold

Press Info:
Berlin-based Pascal Hetzel returns to Caduceus Records with a new slice of gritty industrial-tinged techno and finely tuned sound design. “Noxious Stimulus”, the EP’s title track, is a heavy peak-time filler with a mesmerizing bleepy modular sequence on top of rough monochrome beats. On her remix, rising talent Denise Rabe cranks up the paranoia and turns “Noxious Stimulus” into an unrelenting pitch black grinder. “Pain Tolerance Threshold” starts off as hefty with yet another dose of metallic atmospheres and crushing modular sequences, until a bright pad appears out of the dark. Proper techno goodness for the wee hours in your favorite warehouse.
